  1. Think myself & Mrs Keef are both free Monday.
  2. Wow, just seen this thread. Shu.Kurimu.Sensei sorry to hear about this tw@t shouting at your other half, hope she is okay. For my part, I would say that it was definitely racist. He looked at the lady, and didn't choose to wolf whistle, or comment on her looks (both of which would also be offensive), he chose to make an obvious referrence to her race, and do it in a loud aggressive way. Like Jeremy said earlier, it's the manner in which a phrase is used that makes it racist in a particular set of circumstances. For that reason I think it was racist. Not nice hearing that you've had a lot of it in Dulwich, but unfortunately not surprising either. Natasha30D, I sometimes find you really funny, but on this thread you're out of order.
  3. Sean, they may be playing some great football, but there is still plenty wrong with them, and there always will be!!!!!!!!
  4. Damn my evil twin! It's a fit up I tells ya!!! *Looks for number of Barry George's legal firm*
  5. What did the stick look like? I know that sounds like a silly question (er it was white and stick like) but was it long, did it have a handle. A lot of people carry what is known as a Symbol Cane, which is a short white cane only used to show other people that you have a sight problem, but not to the extent where you'd need a cane for actually feeling your surroundings with. If he had one of those, chances are he could see exactly what he was doing.

    LOL Posts

This really made me chuckle. From the Lights in the Sky thread
  7. I share your pain man!
  8. Hmm, this could be close... Or KP and Colly could knock it about, damn I wish I was in a pub watching this instead of doing this stupid sitting in the office pretending to work thing!
  9. Absolutely. Said I'd lend it to a fella at work, but he tends to keep books for about 3 months, so I'll give it to you first.
  10. Nice to hear Benitez say that Dirk Kuyt and Yossi Benayoun will be staying at Liverpool, both quality players.
  11. Well they may not see your face in a crowded place, but they'd recognise other parts of you a mile off! :-$
  12. I'm about to start Tony Parsons' "stories we could tell" which I bought for 40p at the book shop in Sydenham. It's about 3 lads in 1977 London. Mrs Keef thought you might fancy it Jah, as I think it's about the music scene... Will keep you posted.

    Friday

You ran? Why would you do that?!?!?!? I walked to Lordship Lane, and intended to purchase a similar box of fried stuff after you mentioned it. Luckily for me, the bus pulled up just as I got to the shop, so my stomach was spared! Feel rotten today, and didn't think I'd really had that much to drink! Will just have to have hair of the dog I guess.
  14. What about character selection, how does that work?
  15. Did they sing repeatedly "you're beautiful" whilst the bumming was going on?
  16. Just read The Suicide Shop by Jean Teule. Short story (only about 160 pages) of dark, and very French comedy. Would recommend it for a quick read.
  17. Bell gone for 24, now KP's first innings as captain...
  18. Count me in too, Mrs Keef has bookshelves everywhere, and they are all overflowing! Sure we could bring a shed load!
  19. I can probably borrow the game off my friend whilst he goes off on his honeymoon. Will keep you posted.
  20. At least it's footy... Although not really doing much for me :-S
  21. I just go chilli sauce, and a bit of cucumber for rehydration purposes! :)-D
  22. I thought it was only a 3 parter, but if that's true, they have a lot to get through in the last one, so maybe it has another couple of weeks left...
  23. Monty strikes, de Villiers gone, 158-7. Which leads you to ask what the hell have we been doing this series, and again lament not winning the first test after all that great work.
  24. In HMV recently I got all 3 series of The Royale Family, plus the special they did last year for ?15. Mrs Keef and I have been laughing lots rewatching those, especially any scene with nanna in! I really liked Rome, which reminds me, has onyone watched The House of Saddam over the last couple of weeks? It's another HBO/BBC project, and it's been okay. Doesn't paint him in a sympathetic light, but does make you think about some of the decisions he had to make over the years.
  25. This sort of thing makes me feel torn. On the one hand I see no problem with exclusive places, and I also totally see Jaws' point about wanting to be in a place where you can be yourself and feel comfortable. However I just want to be in a world where there is no need for that, but I guess I'm living in a dreamworld if I think all colours, creeds, sexualities will all get on and have a drink together.
