  1. Torres was a total bargain though really. What do you think we'd get for him now... Think it would be a hell of a lot more! Not that I want to sell obviously, but you get my drift.
  2. I grew up on Whateley Road, and it is definitely Waitlee, and Friern is FreeUrn. I say Dull-Itch.
  3. Agree ?7.50 is not a lot for a trip to the cinema, but that is to watch a film you can't rent out on DVD, or watch at christmas on the telly, and if it rains, you don't get wet. That said, I hate going to the cinema with a passion, and would much rather sit outside (weather permitting), but with all the free screens you get over the summer months,, this seems steep to me. Anyway, didn't mean to start a big thing about the price, wish I'd not mentioned it. I is a nice idea, and I hope it goes well. I'll wait to see what film it is...
  4. Would definitely have Cole well ahead of Barry, but would be massively surprised if it happened, can't see it at all!
  5. I just got stoned once and walked in to the kitchen.
  6. Could we not do any day other than evil mondays?
  7. Piers you left out song lyrics, surely tht beats goals!
  8. I was torn on it. Thought it was clever. Belle, Before Sunrise/Sunset are good ones, although for me, Sunrise is far superior.
  9. Hey, I am lovable! :-S
  10. Yeah I did just think to myself "why did I vote for some like it hot, which I have seen loads of times, when I could have gone for one of the others which I've only seen once or twice... Oh well.
  11. Just reminded myself in another thread of perhaps my favourite film of the 80s, and definitely one of my favourite scenes. Ladies and gents, I give you Adventures in Babysitting - The Baby sitting blues Remember seeing this at the cinima (funnily enough it was called "Night on the town" then), and that was when my absolute love for Elizabeth Shue was born... Perhaps from this Opening scene. And having just searched for that, I found THIS which is quite funny.
  12. Is it going to be chairs in rows, or find a bit of grass and crack open a can? I'd prefer the latter by the way. Any chance of Adventures in babysitting?

    Quiet room...

*thiks to self "Cathy Dennis did do a fine cover of Waterloo Sunset back in the 90s*
  14. Sorry if I sound like a kill joy, but ?7.50 is steep considering Hornimans do similar for nothing! That said, they are all good films, I've voted for some like it hot, but would be tempted by any of them.
  15. Complete with Trixie and Joanie Sean? ;-)
  16. Peckhamgatecrasher Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I'm there too, but with cheddar and strawberry > only. That's my favourite.
  17. Before 2000 is mean, that doesn't leave room for Hidden or Tell No One.
  18. Having watched a lot of Deadwoord lately, I would like it done up like The Gem, with lots of whiskey, card tables, and a brothel upstairs... Just so long as you as the owner don't take to cutting the locals throats when they get out of hand, that might attract the authorities.
  19. Tillie, if they are the ones I am thinking of, then they are HUGE inside, and s/he is going to get a lot for their money!
  20. Sure you can still join without being exservices. Bar is CHEAP, not sure of they do food.
  21. Three colours blue may be good, but she's a miserable cow isn't she!
  22. Brendan, I love jam and cheese, please tell me you were serious there, as I am in a definite minority!!!
  23. See you made some good points ther Rico, I have come across people who take the absolute p!ss subletting and all the things you describe above. I also agree totally with Ratty above. However, what has this got to do with smoking or not?
  24. Another vote here for the Underhill/Overhill thing.
