  1. Actually, one that Sean has mentioned in the past that would definitely get my vote is The Hob in Forest Hill. It's a nice place!
  2. What Asset said (in her first post).
  3. Cheers Rolo, I know the one, but haven't been in there. If we were going Peckham way, I'd go for either The Wishing Well on Bellenden, or Bar Story. My vote goes to The Castle, but I'll come along wherever we go, and do think we should do some Peckham pubs at some stage. 4th April works for me. Anna, I wonder why you fancy the Castle... Wouldn't be anything to do with the fact it's about 10 steps from your front door would it??? ;-) Bagpuss to actually. One day I'll get you all up to Sydenham!!! :)-D
  4. Agree with *bob* about the Ganapati menu, I've had everything on it that I'll eat (I don't do fish) at least once, and would like to see some additions. I love their flat bread, the name of which I can't remember.
  5. I'm being dim and can't even think where the Montpelier is, someone?
  6. Have had 2 meals from Coriander, first was great, second was horrid. Agree about the places on LL, Ganapati is far superior in every way. Keep meaning to take bob's advise and go over to Tooting for a meal soon.
  7. Yeah congrats Brendan! As for me, feeling absolutely rotten! Extra work on Saturdays and 2 x 4 hour band rehearsals doesn't leave much time for relaxation, I'm bloody Knackered!
  8. Well, good result for The Pool yesterday, but a shame Pompey got battered by the blue scum. Not a good result for Arsenal though, and what the hell happened to Spurs Jah?! I guess there could have been fatigue after the final last week, but still a bad result.
  9. I feel determined that The Castle should get a visit one day, I'm sure we'll all be okay if we stick together.
  10. RE the Uplands, I couldn't believe how quickly they wanted everyone out, that must have been the busiest night they've had in years, and they were turning away a profit. That said, they rent out rooms upstairs, so maybe that's something to do with it.
  11. That is the last time I try to stay off the drink in the week, makes you far too drunk when you get back on it. It's all a blur, but the scattered images I do have suggest a fun evening.
  12. Kel, don't worry about it. (or read back through this page starting with ????'s post if you're that bothered).
  13. KalamityKel Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Keefy my dear your not blonde :p Bloody right I'm not, and I never suggested I was. I was merely saying that myself and my friend are both under 30 (just) males. we'll be the ones dishing the fags out to the once fit blonde before knobbing her in the loo :-S
  14. Arsenal 2 v Aston Villa 1 Birmingham 1 v Tottenham 2 Derby 1 v Sunderland (They have to get a win one day) Fulham 0 v 3 Man Utd Man City 2 v Wigan 1 Middlesbrough 1 v Reading 2 Newcastle 2 v Blackburn 1 (Hard one this, but I feel N'Castle must be due a win) West Ham 2 v Chelsea 2 Bolton 1 v Liverpool 2 Everton 1 v Portsmouth 1
  15. Scooters... Pizza for a pound, hurrah!
  16. Bump Heh heh heh >:D<
  17. Have to admit mine s pretty good, all of your bads ould be in the good list, but only because it was all refubed a year ago. Shame they don't care about the staff working there though, bloody germ farm!
  18. Booo!!! Unfortunately I found out I am working earlier tomorrow than planned, so I shall have to watch myself tonight. However, I shall be there, and I imagine Fear N' Boozin, who is now basically a lurker, will be there... And Kel, we're both under 30!!! Just :-S
  19. I love that old guy! I hate any white person with dreads.
  20. It would do to certain people in the council.
  21. I could probably stick a couple up in Sydenham if you like.
  22. Posted by: Keef 07 August, 2007 14:19 I'm a lot more excited about this season than I have been for a few years, what with the arrival of Torres at Liverpool! However, I suspect after a couple of matches I'll be writing off another title charge! We just seem to be incapable of consistency! Always feel quite confident about getting somewhere in the cups though, I do think we're one of the better cup sides. Okay, it was more than a couple of matches, but you get the picture.
  23. Agree RE Hurt, although like when NIN do it live with just piano, that's the best version you'll hear. Search youtube for "nine inch nails hurt reading", and you'll get a fab version from last year's festival!
  24. Yeah that would be my guess... Think he'll give it another couple of seasons, but he'll want to be properly in the race right to the end!
