Actually there is, but it's rather dull. I've only posted once, on a thread demanding a "middle class pub" in Sydenham... I swear! They've actually got their way, and all seem very pleased with The Dolphin, sister pub to The Dartmouth Arms in Forest Hill. Personally I think it's sh!t. There are some interesting history buffs on there though who post old photos and things. Think it's called Sydenham Town Forum, like I say, I only posted once last year... Feel more at home on here :-S

70.... Er, can't be sure I'll get there to be honest. If I do, I have no idea where I'll be living, but hopefully it'll be somewhere interesting. I've got another 4 years, so East Dulwich will be under water by then ;-)

Tayto cheese and onion used to be nice, but not so good as KP.... Alas you don't really se them either these days.

I agree that both sausage and numpty aren't exactly hurtful, and I have't counted out The Cloak being one of my "friends" having a giggle... I just wish it wasn't on here because it's a bit embarrasing.

I'm quiz master in the CPT this Wednesday, so will be popping my head round to that side of the pub to check on the score.

Thank God someone's changed the subject!!! I don't want everyone to kiss me, and I don't want The Cloak to be slated anymore, I just don't want threads started just to have a go at someone, and I want this one to bloody disappear off the top of the page!

The CPT paid it last minute, they thought they had it, and lost a fair few customers before the match. They should have it in future.

Echo your thoughts Sean, was a lovely evening, but didn't get to talk to half enough people. Also, sorry if I did talk to anyone towards the end of the evening because I probably made very little sense! I was rather drunk last night :)-D But hey, that's what being a numpty is all about! >:D<

I went up Lordship Lane on the bus yesterday, and for the first time I really noticed just how many food places there are. Now it's cool that you've got a bit of everything, and it's god to have healthy competition. Biut come on, another curry place????? That said, they rarely look empty, so I guess there is still a need for more more more more morrrreeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!! Ahem, sorry.

A couple of years ago poor old George who ran the little post office on the corner of Pellat Road got shot about a week before they were due to close up and retire! Fortunately he was okay, but if ever there was a nice shop keeper who didn't deserve that sh!t it was him! As an aside, I love the way a lot of these older shop keepers from India have names like George, Michael and Harry ;-)

Louisa, what class are you out of interest? Going waaaaaay back to Ratty's post, I'm not having a go at the Canning because I like it, but how you can say it's more of a pub than the EDT, CPT, or Palmerston is beyong me. The Pheonix is just sh!t. Oh and the Silver Buckle, not that's a place for fighting! Been there twice, and seen 2 massive fights... Did enjoy the karaoke though >:D< For the record, I don't like the Palmerston at all, and not a massive EDT fan, but would still say both are more pubby than the Canning.
