  1. Ahh the Heber Arms... Was too young to ever go in there, but remember it, and remember when it closed.
  2. I got on a bus in Woolwich yesterday, and this horrid white hoodie girl got on ahead of me and walked past the driver. When he called her back she just said "f**k off", and he said I'm not going anywhere til you pay or get off, and she just sat there thinking she was hard and looking at her mates for support whilst saying "I aint fu*king going nowhere". Happy ending when a hard looking fella grabbed her and marched off the bus! Problem is, it's that bloke who would probably get in trouble for putting his hands on her... Personally I wish he'd knocked her out and thrown her off the bus, but you can't have everything.
  3. I hate to say this, but I bet a palm tree will be licked down within a couple of months!
  4. Bn Jovi "Blaze of glory" B)
  5. Wasn't there an Irish shop on Underhill by the Laundrette (that just closed)? Might have been the Lordship Lane people before they took that shop.

Slightly concerned now that I'm planning to play it at my wedding as opposed to funeral :-S Going back to Rage against the machine, I wander if anyone's ever been shot, and had "Bullet in your head" played... That's what I want if I should meet my maker at the hands of a gunman >:D<

  8. Glad to see the CPT wasn't on your list Louisa. Might be owned by an Irish lady, but it will never "be" Irish :)-D

So I've always had a soft spot for it.) Ahhh the 184, bless it... Was more than 10 years back though. The 184 was still running when I went to secondary school in '89, but I'm sure it was the 484 within a couple of years... Could be wrong.
  10. Damn it, that would be a God send these days!
  11. Not always, some of my best loved and longest serving tshirts are from markets.
  12. I want to say that it's all a load of bollocks, but what if. He had bought the house with a previous partner, she'd been basically paying the mortgage whilst they'd been together, and now they've split he's still in his house and she's got nothing.... Guess she should have put her name on the mortgage, but there you go. I kind of think that married or not, if there are no kids involved, both parties should go their own way, split the home / belongings, and have done.
  13. Nimrod, and every bugger had better cry!!!! Also like Seans first suggestion, Rage rock! >:D<
  14. Mrs Keef and I discussed options for a first dance, but in the end we decided we wouldn't bother with the whole thing (dance not wedding). I will be getting up and doing a couple of numbers with the band though, one of which will be wild horses... Not entirely appropriate lyrically, but she heard me sing it the first time we went out and in her drunk state, decided that I was great :)-D
  15. Sean there have been threads called "what people would like to see", however they always end up with other people disagreeing, and the old arguements start again. Tiresome I know, but people have the right to their opinions I guess, and if they feel strongly, they won't stop because some of us a bored of it... Nor should they really, otherwise we'll all just end up being nodding dogs, and forgetting our right to argue.
  16. Bravestar, that's the fella!

*Walks in and looks around the new room* *Slumps in to brand new Lazy Boy with built in beer cooler* *Curses luck at not being short listed for the job he wanted, because apparently, although his application was one of the better for content, his language was too casual, and showed that his report writing wouldn't suit bloody Southwark Council's great standards!!!!!! Even though they've never seen one of his reports, and didn't think to ask his current manager if he's any good..... C**TS!!!!* :X *Pours a worryingly large JD, sparks up a fag and looks around daring someone to challenge him about it* *Starts flicking through the jb pages of the SLP...... Decides that slashing wrists is the only way forward, and is preferable to continueing employment in Woolwich for evil Greenwich Council!!!!!!*
