Hmm, this is rather dull ;-)

Found this... "The new Act permits children on premises provided they are supervised by someone over 18 if the young person is under 16 years of age where the main activity is the sale of alcohol (e.g. a pub). Where it isn't then they must be so accompanied after midnight and before 5am (e.g. a restaurant)." I think though that each establishment has the right to refuse if that's what they want to do, but they shouldn't claim that it's the law when it's not. Personally I think that 7 in the evening is pushing it a bit for kids... Fine in the day time, but surely in the evening people should be able to have a drink and get a bit rowdy, without having to worry about little kids in the place.

A really nice afternoon (even with a nasty hangover), very much enjoyed it, and definitely up for another game... Think a net session or 2 might be handy next time though as I (and most of the team) hadn't bowled a ball or held a bat for some time... Big mention to Piers for a lovely wicket in his second bowled over, which I think made the whole day worth it for him ;-)

Oh and West Ham won.

Is it satisfying playing in the Championship? ;-) Soory Simon, but Warnock was on the radio the other day still slagging off Benitez, and I just think it's rubbish. If he had a team in the final of a cup, and his last league match didn't mean anything to him, he'd do what was best for his team, and think about the cup. That's all Liverpool did, and it's the same as any manager would do. Teams get relegated because they don't get enough points over 38 games, you can't blame it on one particular person. That penalty was bollocks! But, these things happen, Torres' goal was great, so that's a positive. Plus the mancs lost which is always a good thing.

by a Kiwi band called Evermore. Saw this song live at the Pyramid Rock Festival in Melbourne last New Year, and it was about the only song of the whole weekend I thought I may have heard before. Anyway, I downloaded it recently, and it has been in my head since. Nothing amazing, but it's a nice enough song.
