  4. "Imagine the scenario, that hopefully will never happen. A major terrorist attack...." Still got a bit o' that ol' new labour in you haven't you DC :-S
  5. Do puffin's really eat rancid fish? seems a little unlikely to me. Surely no creature would dream of eating specifically rotten fish.
  6. PGC, I wrote that post about fifteen times, but due to this morning's blood alcohol level still being above that recommended for a small horse I eventually settled for three circumfli. In (slightly less) short. Don't like Ken at all but credit where credit's due. Love Boris, but the man is a liability, have heard him interviewed several times and he really doesn't have a clue. But that post was damnably near a perfect post; well argued and reasonable in every sense of the word; i take my hat [^] off to young Sean.
  7. he he no probs. It is lovely isn't it, with all those effusively balanced Irish types and caustically sarcastic Spaniards, tsk! ;-)
  8. yeah, too right, she'll be sooooooo unhappy *mutter* 24 million *rant* bitch *twitch curtain* nutter *judge* Anyhoo...back to that fifth anniversary, so if heather mills got six million squid for every 250,000 Iraqi's killed.....
  9. Ha ha, yes indeed DC, just ask Polly D (word) about possible repercussions!! I might consider asking admin for a change (Davey C) if I were you (and were ever planning to get a new job)
  10. That voice of Thomas the Tank Engine Would seduce even you I'm sure DC, but the man who gave us the frog chorus...even for $25 million, really? * he he, I toned down my post thrice in the composition, only to see we can always count on *Bob* to lower the tone!! ;) *
  11. But the important question is "would you?"
  12. I'd say that's your sure-firest way to it Brendan!!
  13. The only topic being "This is a test forum. Feel free to delete it or edit after installation." may be something of a give away. Besides, you only need look at the west dulwich forum to see just how hard it is to hit the necessary user/network critical mass to make something online work. No disrespect to Downsouth, it's 10% hard work, 90% luck. http://www.westdulwichforum.co.uk/
  14. I'm not particularly fond of either of them, and ye,s divorces are often nasty and bitter with both trying to get what they can out of it. She should just learn when to shut the **** up; seriously! Plus you're not a celebrity love,* you just married one. *as if this is somehow a desirable status to attain in itself...depressing. On a similar note I'm glad to see my post sparked this vital debate. :-/ *what's wiv me grammar today?*
  15. Blimey, the independent is really going for it today. Lies Stupidity Despair So I'll finish up with some lighthearted fun poked at that target, metaphorically the size of a barn door, Heather Mills
  16. "caviar, fois gras, avacado, banana, celery" Again with the perfect pizza!!! (maybe some artichoke and anchovy too)
  17. chocolate and chilli is always a great flavour combination. I often put some chocolate in a chilli con carne.
  18. "Sometimes you just have to experiment." Indeed. Was sceptical about my brother's strawberries and freshly ground black pepper with a glass of crisp, floral white wine, but heavenly. any other weird food combinations out there of the heaven or hell variety?
  19. of the 10 biggest losers below I notice 4 are in the pub/brewery trade. Punch, whetherspoons, Greene king and M&B.
  20. I'm struggling to find the site, but it's on t'interweb somewhere about proposals to mitigate the loss of the Victoria-London Bridge service. Basically enough extra journey's will be put on to compensate for the loss in the victoria direction, but I seem to recall London Bridge from Denmark hill may be more of a pain. I think Peckham to LB will again be ok though. I'll keep looking anyhoo.
  21. I have to say, that apart from the microwaved meals, I'm loving everyone's food hells. Saurkraut, offal, haggis, pickles, oily fish, fishy fish, non fishy fish, bananas, porridge, mangoes?!?!!? coriander mmmm. Allll together on a pizza!!!
  22. That is impressive. But I'm guessing that's all the news, entertainmetn, gossip, weather and the rest. I find their forum is actually pretty stagnant for a much higher profile site. Plus their moderation policy does them no favours. *edited for eek*
  23. fshhhhh * de-tops open ice-cold San Miguel * * looks up wistfully for owls *
