  1. "Probably in a medical one though, so is it blurred vision? " I reckon it could cause blurred vision for sure. In fact if it was hard-boiled beforehand it could conceivably cause blindness.
  2. "Do you mean intelligent beyond their education? I get that feeling with MP too..." are you having a pop cos i went to a compr'ensive innit? Classist, classist, apologise now!!!!!
  3. "I had a Latin teacher who never really taught us any Latin" Yeah, my old history teacher used to go on about how hard Spanish sheep were.
  4. nothing to do with intelligence; a mixture of reading on the tube, voracious appetite for history and google to check up on the facts to avoid visagialalbumencia.
  5. * materialises by MPs side * * nods appreciatively and takes virtual pint of cold, sparkling, refreshing lager * * takes llooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggg draught of said elixir * AAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh. * slowly but surely melts back into the ether *
  6. "Nothing has beaten Deus Ex for me" You'll like Bioshock then.
  7. That's the problem with religions based upon secondary sources written so many years after the event. Noone knows whether Dione was involved or not as the sources we have disagree. Some say that Uranus' knackers were cut off by his son Cronus and chucked in the ocean from whence Aphrodite arose (just off Cyprus, but we'll assume not in international waters). Perhaps if the Mycenaens had been a tad more literate we'd have more clues. But of course none of this can be true as we all know the world is only 4,000 years old!
  8. Bioshock, great story and beautiful atmosphere, but not really groundbreaking gameplay. Orange Box is a beautiful thing for sure, but not really worth it if you're an old hand on the PC. If not, then it's simply a MUST purchase.
  9. "The ear Michael with put X-360 hand handles or the X-box lead in hand handles of X-box very easily and directly" Indeed, what's not to understand?
  10. As it turned out I had to ring UPS to come pick it up which I did getting on for a fortnight ago.

  16. Yeah that's a classic. I like the way they're holding the picture up.
  17. "geek all through the night til the early morn?" I only do it in a star trek outfit ;-)
  18. Actually I quite like to think of myself as a xenomorph, but that's just the geek in me :D
  19. xenophobe!! xenophobe!!!
  20. I really like the bumping into people thing, and have made genuinely good friends out of this. That said I still know 20 odd posters, regularly see about 10 people from the forum, and half of them I knew anyway; weigh that up against the 2000 odd registered users and the dozens of regular contributors and anonymity remains.
  21. There's a feature on The Foals in this moths The Fly http://the-fly.co.uk/webmag.aspx
  22. It's been good enough in the past that I always consider it, but been iffy enough in the past that it's not in my dead cert, impress visitors list. If you're not doing the latter, then give it a go. It's never been bad as such.
  23. I think you've got the wrong end of the stick there Lizzy......or am I only saying that because you're not one of the gang? ;-P
