Hi, I am an Oral Historian involved with the Elephant 21 project. I would like to talk to long term residents from the Elephant Castle area,to record their stories of life around the Elephant before it disappears. Does anyone have any relatives or friends who may be willing to help? It would involve me going to their homes for 1 to 2 hours. Thanks Caz

I went to the opening night and the closing night of the Alchemist. Both happened on the same night! Bizzare evening,opened at 6.30,chef turned up at 8,no food and closed at 9!

Artist Stan Peskett who painted the Vision of Angels mural at Goose Green in 1993 and has been living in America,is back to restore it to its original glory. The reborn mural will be unvailed on May 10th as part of this years Dulwich Festival. He needs volunteers,handy with a paintbrush,to help with the restoration. I had my card scammed in the last couple of days,also tried to be used in Canada.Thankfully Barclays picked it up staightaway.Only used it locally over the past few days,Texaco ,Grove Vale was one!
