A bit of gaming overload AndyB? Anyways, Santa was very nice & brought me Scene It (Movie quiz) & Lego Batman. Haven't tried either yet, but looking forward to both of them. I got myself Call of Duty 5 just before Christmas & it's good fun as well. The multiplayer side is great. On a different note, has anyone on here ever payed any of the X games? They're, different. Not for everybody, but if you like empire building in space they can be great fun, if a bit slow.

Seconded. I've worked my way through most of them. They were out of Kolsch the last time I was there unfortunately. I had some birthday drinks around there a few weeks ago & they were very helpful & took care of us.

I'm still enjoying wandering around making a mess. I haven't headed to the radio station yet, busy with the side quests. No other way past it? Most things seem to have another way around them. I haven't gotten to the spiky stick stage, but it's gotten close! Trying to be very easy on the trigger finger. I wouldn't survive a melee fight with most things. Zombies? Not found them.

No? I've heard that from a few people. Took me a little bit to get into it, but now I'm really enjoying it. The mechanics almost seemed a bit clunky at first. Isn't this area a geek's paradise? I'm quite sad really.

Mass Effect can certainly consume a lot of time. I wouldn't call GTA4 an RPG though. I take it you don't want to borrow Fallout 3 when I'm done then? >:D<

You're welcome to borrow it. My problem right now is there are so many games coming out that I want, I just don't have the time to play them all! I suspect I'll just have to bite the bullet, it just annoys me that they cost so much. That said ?70 is cheaper than I've seen elsewhere. One of my coworkers has been raving about the new horde mode in GoW2. All coop with waves of creatures that keep getting bigger.

Yeah, I couldn't find the Left 4 Dead demo last night to download. I guess single player would still work. Good review that Sean posted. I'm sure I'll be getting CoD5 at some point soon. Love CoD4 & the multi player system in that is great.

I seems that they didn't want to leave servers just for hosting demo coop games. Forgot today was the update. Copying games to the drive would be good, but mine is full of demos I still have to try now. Can you install games to an external drive or anything useful like that?

The demo of left 4 dead is gone. Apparently no more now that the full game is out.

I don't have enough space. I could clear off some demos, but it would still get very tight.

I've noticed. It took me a little bit to get into Fallout, but really enjoying it now.

Nice thread. Thankfully I haven't been caught by any of those. You can chain up attacks in VATS against all the targets you can see. There doesn't seem to be a way to undo an action from the list once queued however. Still not helping me with the damn fire ants. That's a game I'm definitely hoarding ammo in!

I was thinking of suggesting swaps! Anyways, picked up Fallout last Friday & I have had about 20 mins to play so far. :( Gears of War 2 tomorrow as well. I know I'll get it eventually, more a question of when. And when I get to play it as well.

For RPGs I'd recommend Mass Effect. I really enjoyed it. Good RPG, with a bit of FPS flavour. If that makes sense.

Mmmm CoD 5. I'm still playing CoD 4. Fantastic multiplayer. Currently debating whether or not I go & pick up Fallout 3.... It looks gorgeous, gameplay sounds good.

The Aliens mod for the original Doom was one of the scariest games I've ever played. A couple of people in the same room playing co-op with the lights of was nuts.

Haven't looked at Fable 2 or Dead Space yet... Fallout & Gears of War are both looking lovely. Good thing my birthday is coming up!

So, I have just over 1,000 photos to sort through from my vacation (to start with!). I've got some that I'd like to post online. What do you guys recommend? Flickr? Panaramio? Mainly I just want to be able to share photos with select people, or the world at large & retain the copyright. Thanks for any suggestions.
