  1. We've had DNA for hundreds of thousands of years.
  2. ... such a shame you live so far from the ocean.
  3. Worcestershire completely conned. Serves them right for taking an unknown player on his word. Unbelievable.
  4. I'm confused. How exactly are these b@#$%&s getting in? Are they getting in through unlocked doors, badly locked doors, completely locked doors, upstairs windows? Is there something we should be doing to impeded the sods?

To be fair on the FA, it wasn't the investigation they objected to, but the timing of the programme to be three days before the vote. I'm not a big fan of the FA, but I thought they did have a point on that one. Would it have hurt the Beeb to have waited one week?
  6. Anyway, shouldn't it be "Binary debate number 10"?
  7. 0 or 1?

(The Rich is generally relatively defined as "people who have more money than me".) The Tories are nowhere near broken. I think that if an election were held tomorrow, we would have a full Tory government voted in, based on the fact that Labour not yet regained credibility (and electing Mr Invisible has not really helped there) combined with the fact that they no money to fight an election campaign anyway.
  9. Binary debates are so last year. Let's have a hexadecimal debate.

  11. And make sure you mortice lock the front door. Not only because it's safer, but also because your insurance might not pay out.
  12. Was it locked or open?
  13. ratty, What time did this happen? And was anyone home there at the time?
  14. Yeah, but now you get your hedge hacked back AND a bill for ?200.
  15. But who instead? D Milliband is out of the picture. Balls up there with Clegg in the popularity stakes. Ditto Harman. Yvonne Cooper is not too bad, but her husband won't let her run. ;o) John McDonnell is too left-wing. Andy Burnham, maybe? Though possibly he is better left to when Labour could actually win an election?

That may be the cost of the call centre, but 1) Over what period? 2) What savings were made (if any) by opening this call centre? Just looking at the cost of something doesn't always show the whole picture.
  17. But is he rich, Jeremy?
  18. Useless factoid: Ben Goldacre's mum was the lead singer of Fox (remember S-s-s-s-single Bed?)

    Solar panels

Careful with this. You are, in effect, signing your house up to a contract for 25 years. It may impact the saleability of your house. http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/utilities/free-solar-panels

  22. The GEO UK website says it is the "Global Entreprenerial Organisation - UK". First rule of setting up an effective "Entreprenerial" company? Learn to spell "Entrepreneurial"...
  23. That's because I think you worded that question badly. I think you meant 'locally' or 'in the UK'. I sometimes hire cars when holidaying abroad, so I answered 'yes'.
