I also have an autoimmune condition and am on immunosuppressant medication. I was lucky and had no side effects at all from my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine. It seems to vary very greatly from person to person, I have no idea why. I was quite ill the day after my flu jab, though.

I thought Aneto had expanded into it? Locale was horrible. When it was The Flying Pig, that downstairs space always seemed really weird. Perhaps whoever has it now could do what Franco Manca did to the old Black Cherry space, and make it all on one level. That might improve things. Just looked at their website. I look forward to enjoying a "relaxed and stylish atmosphere" (rolls eyes).

I'm presuming this is different to the recent Zoom session about the Great North Wood? I can't remember who was hosting that, but it was a very interesting presentation. Did he change his name to Greenwood? I knew somebody who did :)

There's a nice little cafe there (when it's open) and also a mini brewery near the community garden there.

But they don't usually dig up bulbs once they have started sprouting, are your squirrels eating the actual leaves and flowers??? Sparrows (and possibly other birds) eat the yellow flowers .....

This one has been resurrected from 2011 😶

*Heritage Restaurant - Rosendale Road West Dulwich*
Sue replied to DayashankarSharma's topic in The Lounge
Thanks TheCat, that's annoying! We did have a very good Indian meal from elsewhere, and had a long wait for that as well. We would have happily waited! I can't remember what time we went onto their website, but somewhere between 6 and 7pm. I don't know why they would have a message saying they were "closed today", that's quite misleading I think, it would have been better to explain the situation? Not to worry, we will try again next weekend! -

We went to order from the website and there was a message saying you were "closed today", and also the website says that your delivery hours are the same as the restaurant opening hours? Very disappointed as we were looking forward to trying your food. Are you not open for deliveries on a Saturday night??? -

I think originally one of the names may have been intended for "business", very loosely defined, but that isn't the case any longer.

I know of at least one current poster who has two forum names and has sometimes used both of them on the same thread. Not a troll though.

Survey for Elderly Citizens regarding online library application
Sue replied to studentem's topic in The Lounge
How do you define "elderly" ???? :)) Also, would it not be preferable to give some actual (visual) examples of the options you are talking about? I'm probably elderly, and have no idea what you are talking about in practical terms re level of functionality. I am not quite sure what you mean by a "book library web application", either. Is this to borrow actual physical books, or to borrow books to read on a Kindle or similar? And it is possible to change text size at the user end, surely. And why would anybody want less contrast in colours? It just makes things harder to read. And how close is "closely grouped"? Where would the buttons be on the page? I do think you need to provide actual examples! -

No one wants them. "Because of Khan?" You think he is wrong to try to reduce pollution levels? I will also have to get a new car, but I'm not blaming Sadiq Khan for it!

My food waste bin has not been emptied for three weeks, however as noted above, it says on the website that they are running behind and please not to report the non collection on the website. I think we should cut them some slack, what with absences due to Covid and the awful weather last week.

This may be easier to find: https://heritagedulwich.co.uk/ I wish you luck, the food looks and sounds lovely! ETA: For future reference, if you put https:// in front of the website address, it turns it into a clickable link on here :) ETA: Sorry to see you don't have the desserts on the website yet! Do you do kulfi? Also, whereabouts in Rajasthan are you from? It's a nice part of India! -
