It is mostly removed manually at the first stage of sorting at the recycling centre. Although judging by the air of boredom surrounding the guys doing it when I visited on an open day, I'm not sure how thoroughly. And that was on a day when "the public" were watching!

James McAsh, a delegate from Camberwell and Peckham, says if the 20% threshold were in place in the 1990s, John Prescott and Margaret Beckett would not have been able to stand for the leadership. Ed Balls, Diane Abbott and Andy Burnham would have been excluded in 2010, he says. And he says if the same rule had applied after the 2019 election defeat, Keir Starmer would have been the only candidate. He says with this rule change, candidates will be paler, maler and staler.

But surely it's because they are trying to minimise face to face contact in the present Covid situation? Certainly the policy should be better communicated, but it's completely understandable, surely? -
Surely "they" should be a) rationing petrol and b) giving emergency vehicles and essential workers who need a vehicle to get to work priority? Is that naive?

Thanks both! Mine should be coming up in the next couple of weeks then, but if it doesn't materialise I will go the health centre. Thanks again!

I asked at my GP recently and was told I had to wait to be contacted from the NHS (I presume) but I haven't heard anything yet despite being in the high risk group.

The garage at Goose Green has both E5 and E10 petrol. My car now has to use E5, grrrrr.

I bank with First Direct, and since HSBC no longer has a branch in East Dulwich, I use the Post Office if I need to physically use a bank, eg paying cash in. They have an arrangement with First Direct. I have always used them to change notes to coins if I need to, for the float for our gigs. I've never had any problems before. This Friday we have our first concert since before lockdown, and I went to get some pound coins for the float. I was told that I couldn't do this unless I had a "change card", and I would need to go to the bank. Luckily Barclays (who I have never had an account with) kindly did this for me, otherwise I would have needed to go to the HSBC branch in Peckham. When i got home, I phoned First Direct, who said they have never heard of a "change card", and that they didn't provide one. Can anybody shed any light on this apparently new Post Office requirement? What is a "change card", and how do I get one? ETA: I've just googled it. Apparently you now have to have an HSBC business account to get change. I now realise what I should have done is just withdraw cash at the counter and ask for it in pound coins. I'm sure they would have been delighted.

Lying on the pavement at the junction of Barry Road and Tyrell Road is what seems to be a small child's navy blue jacket, possibly hooded, with pink unicorns on it (I didn't move it). I left it there as I thought it was more likely to be found by its owner retracing their steps than by their looking for it on here, but I'm posting details here just in case.

Royal Mail..parcels not being delivered

Why can't they employ temps, like they do at Christmas? -
To be clear, the password I used for the new Gmail address was not one I've used anywhere else. I have three Gmail addresses now, but I'm a bit confused as although they recognise me, they don't seem to be relating the new address to the two existing addresses, so I'm actually wondering if I should have used the same password as for the other two. It's all too complicated for me. I think I'll go and lie down in a very dark room.

Thanks, I had already changed it, I just wondered what the data breach was! Thanks for the explanation!

I just set up a new gmail account, and in the tedious process that started off, I received these messages: Change 2 compromised passwords Some of your saved passwords appeared in a data breach from a site or app that you use. You should change them now. and Some of your saved passwords were exposed in a non-Google data breach. You should change them now. This account is at risk eastdulwichforum.co.uk Sue Can anybody shed any light?

I use iD, which uses the Three network. I've never had any connection problems anywhere (I probably will now I've posted that!)

Royal Mail..parcels not being delivered

They will be able to track who has handled the card at this end (or they should be able to). However, don't expect any compensation, because they will just tell you money shouldn't be sent in the ordinary post (which is true). -

I've just got a parcel today that was sent by 48 hour delivery nearly two weeks ago. I'm still waiting on other stuff. I'm also very wary now of ordering anything which will be delivered (or more likely not) by Royal Mail. -
