  1. I have just seen on another thread that Organic Village in Lordship Lane will deliver. You can email [email protected] with a list. Does anybody know if anywhere will deliver sourdough bread? Sorry, very middle class but in this case for health reasons. I think I saw something on another thread, but I can't remember where. Also, offies? Again, sure I saw something elsewhere but could have been on some other online media (perish the thought :) ) Hop Burns and Black? Bruno's?

Beggars belief. > Unfortunately, given the crowds of people shown gathering on beaches, in parks etc, it is only too believable. I can't understand why there hasn't been a massive co-ordinated public information campaign spelling out the dangers in words of one syllable with leaflets delivered to every door. "They" seem to be able to do this at election times. The facts of the situation we are in just haven't been properly communicated, and by the time they are it will be too late for many people.
  3. Apologies if there is already a thread on this, but I can't see one, and it would be helpful to have information all in one place. I know Monica at Health Matters has said they are setting up a delivery service, which is very helpful. I'm just wondering whether any other of the smaller/independent shops are? I can understand that it would be quite hard to set this up from scratch, particularly if there are not many people working at the shop in the first place, plus it's possibly putting the people who do the deliveries at risk (though no more than people coming into their shops) but even if a few shops could do it, it would be really good. I'm wondering particularly the zero waste places like Gather in Bellenden Road? Though not sure quite how that could work?

Obvious when you think about it, which I hadn't done ......

  6. I'm not sure that people who usually eat out at restaurants a lot would now be cooking at home? I'd have thought that they would have turned to takeaways (which I still call them even if they are delivered!)?
  7. Interesting, thanks.
  8. Please keep us in touch with its development :) I suppose the problem is, you don't know what it likes to eat ..... if moths eat once they're moths?

Sadly it will be too late for many of them, but even worse, too late for the many others they have infected during the time they were incubating CV and had no symptoms. ETA: Although come to think of it, these two groups overlap .....
  10. Thanks intexas, that's a really useful post.
  11. So basically, you can give me no evidence to back up your accusations. I will draw my own conclusions, and so can others. Anybody can click on my name, look at all the posts I have made on here in over thirteen years, and also look at the context in which I made them. I am only too happy to apologise if appropriate, as indeed I have done in the past. I am wondering why, with all the obvious trolls on this forum, you have suddenly decided to pick on me. And I don't have "forum buddies", as you call them. I obviously know some posters on here in real life, because they are friends and neighbours. Why exactly do you think telling me what I am supposed to have done wrong would be "entertaining" me? Tell me what I have done, and if it is as terrible if you are telling everybody it is, then of course I will apologise, without hesitation. Oh, and I do not hide under a pseudonym on here. I run (or did until this crisis) local music events with my partner as The Goose Is Out! and I live in Ulverscroft Road. PM me and I will give you my mobile number. If you won't tell me on here what I am supposed to have done, you can phone me and tell me privately. If you won't do that either, then again, I draw my own conclusions.

I'm also someone you have attacked many > times in the past for literally no reason, > so maybe you should be a bit more careful. Please give me examples. And please answer the questions in my previous post. Are you sure you are not confusing me with somebody else? As I have no recollection whatsoever of "attacking" you, let alone many times, and let alone for no reason. Thanks. ETA: And please explain what you mean by "maybe you should be a bit more careful", which unless I have misunderstood you, sounds quite threatening. My apologies if that was not your intention. But you really cannot make these accusations about me out of the blue and give no examples to back them up. You've got enough posts to choose from, I've been an active member of this forum for over thirteen years.
  13. How was what I said "nasty", exactly, ED Bird? And when else have I been "nasty"? How can I be "a lot less nasty"? Please explain. Thanks. You can click on my name to see all my previous posts on here, if that helps you find examples. ETA: I'm really upset to see that you are one of what I thought were lovely people coordinating the help for people round here. I am self-isolating, and now I don't feel I want any help, however much I may need it. I am also back in bed and feeling quite ill. I can do without this, tbh.
  14. Great idea, Sweetgirl

You said "Surely East Dulwich does listen to the radio ...." I responded. This is a forum. If you don't like my posts, just ignore them, like I do most of yours. And I'm quite happy and fulfilled, but thanks so much for your concern :)) :)) :))

At least the government has finally taken some action to close down some of the places where people were going. Very very frightening indeed that this doctor's unit is already full, and things have scarcely started in this country.
  18. Cafes, pubs, bars and restaurants to close tonight. Finally.
  19. This should have been done earlier.
  20. Oh FFS. Are people really that gullible? Are you joking, Peckman? If not, what are they saying exactly, and how much money are they trying to extort?

I'll send you the rest of my shopping list privately :))
  22. Possibly staff are ill?
