I have a personal shredder, but I had far too much to shred like that. It would have taken weeks. OK if you've only got smallish quantities. I shall shred as I go in future! But in these online days, I am accumulating less paper. A large shredder like you get in workplaces would do it easily, but obviously you'd need access to one!

What kind of shop/eaterie would you like to see on LL?

Well about ten minutes' walk, I'd have said, from the Goose Green end of Lordship Lane. That's shortish. I don't understand the rest of your post. I'm not trying to drum up trade for the shop because they need more people to go there. I'm suggesting they have a great selection of good quality and reasonably priced fruit and veg, or at least they have had whenever I go past. I bought a load there last week. -
I've been destroying decades worth of financial papers. I stick them in a large bucket of water, leave them a bit, mush them up and put them in a bin bag.

Not Lordship Lane, but a shortish walk from it, the little supermarket type shop in Bellenden Road on the left as you head towards Peckham has a great range of really fresh fruit, veg and herbs outside, at very reasonable prices. I got a load there after I had stocked up at Gather (cooking a load of stuff to freeze). -
At the top of the hill, surely? :)

It didn't "replace" Pussy Liquor. Pussy Liquor was, thank God, renamed after - let's say - poor feedback on this very forum. An ill-advised joke on Meat Liquor, which at the time had only recently opened. I don't think any of the chefs were doing Heston Blumenthal stuff though. But I couldn't afford to find out :)) -

That's very sad. Thinking of his family and friends. -

But it was the parents who stood them on a reataurant table and changed their nappies. I can't see what ADHD or autism has to do with it?

I don't understand this. The staff in Franco Manca were aware that this was happening and didn't intervene in any way?

That didn't last long :( -

Just because somebody makes a (clever and funny) joke doesn't mean they find vandalism amusing. Edited to remove a gender reference.

Does he charge by the job/s or by the day? I have a load of stuff to be done! To save me having a horrible shock, could someone give me a rough idea of his day rate? I'm not ready to go yet as still making lists. Also, does he do painting and decorating? Thanks!

Lucky you. My partner once saw a goldfinch in my garden. One. I've never seen one, despite putting out Niger seed :(

Yes, it's a bit like us. First we aren't there, then we are born, then we are there, then we die, then we aren't there again. The earth hasn't always been here, and it is going to die one way or another at some point, and humans would all die with it then anyway. Which doesn't mean I don't think we should do all we can to halt or slow down climate change, just that there's a bigger picture. We are a tiny speck in the universe and a tiny speck in time. -

However a woman appeared to be emptying it, as she was sorting through a huge pile of clothes on the pavement in front of it. I would have investigated, but I was in a hurry.
