Hi, I may be interested depending on prices. My daughter runs something similar in Oxford using Infinity Foods, and their prices seem to me to be high. Maybe Suma is cheaper? I couldn't see any prices on their website, though there is a lot of information about the products.

Can't help with the jump leads, but maybe you need a new battery? I wouldn't have thought it should run down after just a few weeks of non-use? I don't use my car sometimes for weeks at a time, but it always starts :) If you're in a rescue service with HomeStart or equivalent, they will come and recharge the battery for you with a super-speedy charger, to save you driving around to charge it up once you've used the jump leads ...... ETA: I don't think your problem has anything to do with your gender, btw ....

Their ice cream was delicious and very well priced, and their chocolates - though relatively expensive - were very yummy and really useful for a small gift. They took a lot of trouble boxing them up, tying a ribbon on them and putting them in a stripey paper carrier, even for just six quids' worth.

And go to Primark :)

Lidl are (mostly) brilliant, and excellent value. There are some things I wouldn't buy there again though - can't remember what, so that's useful :))

After a lot of to-ing and fro-ing, the surveyor now says "I can categorically confirm that the cracking could not have been caused by any structural work in connection with the loft conversion - because in those areas (I presume he means the areas of the cracking) there are no steel beams and no cutting into the party wall." Should I accept that, because I thought the whole point about the "loading spread" was that cracks could appear in other areas away from any actual steel beams or cutting?

Could this be something to do with the fact that it's been recently swept? Has the sweeping dislodged something?

I thought you were stereotyping Jewish people. If you weren't, then I apologise. Please forgive me, I'm currently quite unwell and my brain is mush, so quite likely I missed the subtleties. It's a long time since I've seen a Woody Allen movie, and I've never been to Manhattan, though not sure how either of those things are particularly relevant. But maybe that's due to the brain mush too :( Oh, and for those who constantly have a go at me for putting in little crosses to distinguish whose post is whose, the part in bold above is why :))

Aren't all your contacts, emails etc synched? I don't see how you could lose them just because you temporarily don't have them on the phone. Or is it not an Android phone? And apps you can easily reinstall, "your" apps should all be listed online in one place? I did a factory reset on my phone for a different issue, and it really was a lot less hassle than trying to sort the initial issue! Would a factory reset really be so disastrous? Might be quicker in the end than fiddling about trying to find a solution to your problem?
