Dunno Woof..... Is brown the new black? Is it only blokes who are doing this? Must be better than unconvincing shades of blonde, huh? ...not that there's anything wrong with a bit of 'enhancing' your natural look.

I didn't get to watch or listen to it this eve so interested to read others' views on here. IMO - I don't understand why the LibDems haven't been more machiavellian and sided with the Tories throughout the election campaign. And why the Tories haven't attempted to poach Vince Cable? But another five years of Labour? Give me strength...

Oh, I didn't see it so can't give a good answer on what contributed to the cloudy sky tonight (was sadly imprisoned in a horrible glass and steel structure till quite late). But I do know that all volcanic eruptions release a variety of gases, commonest being water vapour, carbon dioxide and sulphur. Different gases are released depending on what type of plate boundary the volcano is at. Er....hope that helps :-S

Never been to Romford in my life mate ...but I would TOTALLY have cheered you on Mick Mac. Once I'd finished my session at the tanning salon* obviously. *Of which there are a distinct - and noticeable - lack of in ED. Thankfully :))

Er ....its easy, you just get in the car and drive around having made absolutely sure that you haven't applied to that place in Wales for a tax disc beforehand. Or am I being a bit :-S? And I'm not on the Stella, Staropramen I believe. x 2.

Thanks for the clarification HAL9000. Appears I have yet to try out fisking then.....will do as LM says and save it for the Drawing Room especially on a Huguenot thread :))

I'm with KK too. Yes, of course its out of order to drive an untaxed car but I doubt I would go out of my way to report them. There are sooooo many other things I would have to report first. I am sure that everywhere I have lived in the UK, cars without tax on public roads are dealt with. Ever experienced some idiot leaving a taxed car outside your front door/drive for months? Thats annoying too IMO.

In that case, can I throw a white stiletto in Mick Mac's general direction..... Oh, I do believe I may have just fisked. Oops. I hope thats allowed in here.

Yet I am inclined to agree with Old Yeller too - those basic, glaring errors show a lack of professionalism that instantly make me reach for the (recycling) bin without further reading. (Estate agents bumpf suffers from much of the same although granted they aren't running the country...) I believe that the "cherry-picking" and "crowing about achievements" often seen in political party bumpf is common to every party. IMO they all offer Shangri-La and some extra cash - which doesn't materialise after they are elected, of course. And yes, it was a jolly nice comment from Victoria to acknowledge and recognise that spelling and grammatical errors are common to all, competitors or not.

Yeah....down with squeezy jars. Hurrah for rice cakes. Boo hiss for the champagne version. Bring on the XO. Gosh...I never knew I had 'opinions' on marmite/marmite products. *note to self: must get out more*

Oi Oi Mick Mac - Essex is a fabulous place to be from. Although, I guess you didn't say otherwise, did you? ;-)

Old Yeller - I see your main point here but to be honest, can we really say that we haven't noticed similar grammatical and spelling errors in literature from across the whole spectrum of political parties. Based on the numerous 'bumpf' received to date, I am not yet convinced I would trust any one party to uphold good standards of education or literacy.

I think we've covered (a) soooooooo...........any fellow marmarati on here able to help with (b) ? Is Marmite XO much different from the original or even the Guinness version (which IMO had a different texture but not taste). *impatiently waits*

scott Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Whether or not 'The Actress' was a joke, it is > leading the field at the moment. The bedrooms > could then be dressing rooms.... So if bedrooms are going to be dressing rooms, does that mean that the...erm...toilets will have 'novel' names too? Like those ones where you have to stop and think before you enter.......in case you get it wrong* :o eg. Gangsters/Molls, Drakes/Damsels, Helgas/whatever the male equivalent etc Oh and good luck with it, can't be easy to rename somewhere, will def pop along there to check it out. The pub that is, not the toilets ;) *yes, I am that dense at times.

I think she looks great apart from the poor choice of bikini.... -
No idea - I will be walking past there soon so if I can see any contact details in the window I will PM you.

I'd be happier if the fox was wearing a Harris tweed waistcoat...but there you go. You can't please everyone.

OMG Artful you need a cycle "buddy" - as do I. I cycled over Vauxhall Bridge earlier this week (unplanned, don't ask!) - its not exactly pleasant. The next day I discovered the route that Horsebox and Ladymuck mention above - SO much better. If you can avoid that bridge then do so as Lambeth/Westminster = less stress. Best of luck.
