  1. If you're planning on getting married in and around Dulwich this year I thought I'd share a small selection of my wedding work from 2014. Local venues include Dulwich College, The Horniman Conservatory, The Lido Cafe, Christ's Chapel, Dulwich Picture Gallery, The Queens House Greenwich and Southwark and Brixton Register Offices. http://www.lorenzophotography.co.uk/creative-london-wedding-photographer-2014/ Many thanks to some lovely local talent I've worked with: Suzanne James Catering http://www.suzannejames.co.uk Amanda Roberts Hair and Make-Up http://www.hairandmakeup4u.com Bare Groove - http://www.baregroove.com Thank you x Edited because I can't spell!
  2. Screen painting and T-Shirt printing parties at Captured on the Rye are so good we did them twice. Our 6 and 8 year olds loved them, Lou is amazing!
  3. I'd like to say a huge thank you to all the families I've met and photographed with babies, toddlers and children this year. It's been lovely to meet and work with you all and I hope you've found the sessions as much fun as I have :) My apologies to those that have been in touch recently only to discover that I'm fully booked until the end of January 2015. I do try to fit in as many families as possible but demand has been extremely high this year. However, it's not too late if you'd like to buy your loved ones a Gift Voucher for Christmas http://www.lorenzophotography.co.uk/gift-voucher/ Thank you again and wishing you all a fab Christmas and New Year! Loz x

  6. Being Annie's husband I'm slightly biased but we have worked jointly on several clients over the years. One of our biggest projects was a 300page Hard Backed coffee table style book. I supplied the photography and Annie did all the layouts, typo, print production and liaising with publishers. I can confirm that she's definitely a perfectionist! We've also worked on websites, print ads, banners, flyers and brochures together. Highly recommended :) Loz
  7. Hi can anyone recommend somewhere local for Motorbike CBT training? I'm a complete novice. Thanks.
  8. Another huge recommendation for Steve and Nicola from Back to Wood. They've just finished refurbishing our American Walnut wooden floors after years of abuse from kids and shifting furniture. They look as good as new! Steve and Nicola were true to their word. On time, worked quickly, cleaned as they went along and very security conscious. A pleasure to have around, well priced and talked us through the whole process with lots of advice about the finish and tips for good aftercare. Would highly recommend them to anybody considering bringing new life to their wooden floors. See contact details above.
  9. Bad luck. I don't know the answer but if it's a Canon or Nikon DSLR you could try Fixation in Kennington. Have used them for several years and always very good. http://www.fixationuk.com/Fixation/Fixation%20-%20Home/Fixation%20-%20Home.html
  10. Thank you for the recommendation Lorraine :) Unfortunately I probably do 'Cost the earth' to some. I'm a full time photographer and I charge on average ?1,800 per wedding, depending on level of coverage and location. Don't let that put you off though! Loz
  11. 2nd Little Blue Fish. We've worked on a few sites with Andre - awesome local talent!
  12. Thank you balanceforlife. It was a pleasure. I really enjoyed covering your wedding. Such a quirky and original day! So pleased you enjoyed my work. Loz x
  13. Another 2 thumbs up for Gary Vu. He came over within hours to fix a problem with bathroom and living room lights. Traced the issue and resolved it very efficiently. Reasonable cost and also shared his Sea Bass recipe too :) Top man! You can reach Gary on 07872 178 044
  14. There's an established colony on One Tree Hill
  15. Hi DulwichPianoFestival. Just seen this. Would love to cover this for you for free but unfortunately I'm out of London this weekend too. PS Thanks MaxMirza, hope your wedding goes well :) Loz
  16. Big thumbs up for Danny. Read the recommendations on here and called him this morning to fix a leaky bathroom radiator valve. He came over at the time we agreed. Fixed the valve and was polite, friendly and charged a very reasonable rate for the job. We also mentioned a blocked bath waste pipe and he arranged for someone to come over the same day and sort the problem out immediately and once again at a very reasonable price. Can't recommend him highly enough. Will definitely be calling him again next time we have a plumbing issue. 07879 220 447 Thanks again Danny. Edited to add correct contact number
  17. I can also recommend Amanda Roberts. Very talented and always gets great reviews from her clients. Can I also add Suzanne James an excellent local wedding and event catering business http://www.suzannejames.co.uk/ who is also the preferred caterer for many local venues including The Horniman Conservatory, Dulwich Picture Gallery, Greenwich Museum, The Garden Museum, St Johns Museum and more. I'm also a local Wedding and Event Photographer although I also photograph weddings all over the UK and Europe. I'm fully booked for the summer but I do have availability for late 2014 and next year. http://www.lorenzophotography.co.uk/ Thank you Loz
  18. yes, I think it plays across most platforms
  19. My 8 year old son has been playing it for several months now and is totally engrossed by it! I agree about the creativity and educational values. Kids are always going to be playing some computer game or other these days and I prefer this than some of the alternatives out there. Ultimately we try and limit the time he plays and for those wondering, he does manage to fit it in with swimming, football, flute, homework and the occasional conversation at breakfast. The thing to watch out for are the Youtube video demo's. Some do contain language not quite suitable for his age. It's not explicit and I'm sure he hears much worse at school but you do need to keep an ear out. Incidentally I read worse in a Charlie Higson book he picked up in the children's section at the library and was kindly pointed out to me by his teacher. Oops! He's also read several Minecraft books which I've looked at and they are brilliantly constructed on many levels. He doesn't rate the ipad version and plays it on an old MacBook mostly in constructor mode or one to one with a school friend.
  20. You can get married in the Council Chambers which is quite cool and has lots of capacity. Congrats!
  21. Second that. We've used Joe on a few occasions for big and small jobs. His work ethic is so refreshing. On time, tidy, meticulous and a lovely chap to have around. Reasonably priced too http://jr-carpentry.co.uk/ Loz
  22. Suzanne James get's great recommendations on here. Local, long established and very green conscious. http://www.suzannejames.co.uk/index.asp
  23. Why I'll be voting UKIP ;) http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2014/05/21/ukip-twitter-trending_n_5363700.html?utm_hp_ref=tw
  24. Thank you so much balanceforlife, Pickle and Belle!! I love what I do and a lot of my enjoyment comes from knowing my clients are happy and enjoy my work for years to come. Thank you :)
