  2. TJS - just a random one off - first incident in five years I've lived here.
  3. My neighbour's car had three tyres slashed in Adys Rd (just opp school) and he spoke to someone in Ondine Rd, just round the corner who had the same done to his car.
  4. Hallooo. So glad to hear you've moved from that hellish place. See you soon hopefully.
  5. Sorry, no - it's working fine by G Green.
  6. Adys Road and Ondine Road suffered some last week. Think it was random vandalism rather than targetted. Sounds like your 'neighbour' is a knob. Isn't there some invisible paint one can get that colours the hands? Plaster on your tyres, wait for it to happen again and then contact the police.
  7. I trust Brendan is excluded from your rant. He's a perfect gent.
  8. That was fun - got there in the end.
  9. That's not good Asset. I tried physio for my Tennis Elbow which didn't help much. It took about a year for all twinges to subside. Maybe we should all try a night playing with our other hand - might be a hoot. (Ambidextrosians need not come)
  10. There's a spell check function? Where?
  11. Lobster Pot, Kennington
  12. I know - there were so many and I had to cut it to 10. Quadraphenia lost out too. And the Italian Job opens in London. And ... and ....
  13. Top 10 London Films Passport to Pimlico The Long Good Friday Midnight Lace Mary Poppins Withnail & I Truly Madly Deeply Fever Pitch The Lavender Hill Mob Notting Hill Up the Junction
  14. My 80s contribution - on the whole I loathed the period. Dire Straits - Romeo & Juliet (live version)
  15. Remind me next week and I'll go and join at Waverley. I played last night with the lovely Caro - there was still a court free. Half the room was being used for a ping pong tournament.
  16. I saw Cyclops - agree it was very good.
  17. East Dulwich Grove where parking on the pavement is allowed on some stretches. It means one can't get a pushchair or wheelchair down there.
  18. I always wondered what they did with niblets and mashies.
  19. There was/is a sasparilla stall down The Lane (East Street).
  20. If there was a dog involved Keef, it was probably Five go to Kirrin Island.
  21. I once saw Peggy Mount play Madame Arcarti (Richmond or Wimbledon or something like that). She was absolutely brilliant - very funny (whispers - better than Margaret Rutherford).
  22. Well done WQ and MP. It's a hard slog to study as an adult with all one's other commitments. CO - congratulations.
  23. I remember going to see Shadowlands with Nigel Hawthorne and Jane Lapotaire. I just sat in my seat and wept at the end of it. Highly embarrassing.
