I am doing the Crystal Palace Triathlon on May 23rd. Its my first Tri and i've been training hard for a while for it. I'm hoping that there are some forumites out there that have had a good experience with the trust and will be willing to donate something towards my cause. if you can swear a quid or two my giving page is : http://www.justgiving.com/mazzasfirsttri cheers all for reading this. wish me luck, lets hope i dont require the services of the hospital myself :)-D

i was thinking of joining paragon too but i find the whole thing a bit intimidated. i always think you have to be pretty good before you join one of these groups. -
Incident on Peckham Rye/Nunhead (hit while cycling)
mazza7103 replied to paddykelly's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Pearson if something has happened at the same place more than once then thats a pattern can work with. i would put money on it that if you told the local safer neighbourhood team the youths description they will know them. these kids stick out somewhat. give the old bill a chance before you condemn them to hell. if you dont report it you can hardly complain when it happens again. -
well i've got a few events coming up and i've never heard of that charity so i will consider that when choosing the next one. cheers

I'm going to do the london triathlon in august. any one got any good fundraising ideas. i'll be doing it for NSPCC. i was thinking of a bake sale at work is easy enough. i dont work with nearly enough people to make a raffle work. i was thinking of approaching local businesses but i'm not sure if they'd go for it. any ideas? B)

please please report it. like everyone has said he may be on cctv. if no one reports the police cant identify where there is a problem. i'm a police officer and when someone is hit with a brick, i would want to do something about it but unfortunately officers like me wont get a chance to help you and their future victims without the information. East Dulwich police station is often quiet, i've never had to wait to speak to someone. I know people that work on the Peckham Rye and Dulwich Safer Neighbourhood wards and they are both very friendly/approachable. The other option would be to call the police on 0300 123 1212 and they will send someone to the house to see you. Also might be an idea to see a doctor just to check you over. Take care, hope you're not to shaken up PS. I'm sure you already have but call the phone company and get them you cancel it.
