  1. I recently purchased an old Elton John one called Madman across the Water which I remembered from years ago and really liked (most of). Also bought Yes's Close to the Edge an old favourite of mine.
  2. I just read Chronicle of a Death Foretold by Garcia Marquez for the second time.
  3. and I think you are right David! Your go.
  4. Who won an FA Cup, a Champions League and played in the North London, Merseyside and Manchester derbies?
  5. 8-0 to West Ham?

  9. I see Gatland has started the mind games by saying of all the other teams in the 6 nations the Welsh players dislike the Irish the most! Suppose he thinks they'll run home crying to mammy after hearing that. Given how little they like each other as per Henson at the week-end, they must really HATE the Irish!
  10. Thought about this one lots. My head tells me Wales. Winning the championship but losing the final match would be more bitter than sweet. I'd perfer actually if the 6 nations had the bonus points possability as the Tri Nations does and the H Cup of course. It would be interesting to see where the standings were now if that were the case. I don't buy into Wales being a great team and apart from a couple of matches most have been boring, though I still have to watch them. However, provide we protect O'Gara who can't really tackle and we don't give stupid pens away, we will have a chance. But boy would I like us to win with some style! I'm rambling, so best leave it till I've a clearer head........which may never happen.
  11. Latest scores David 287 (66) Declan 272 (70) Mick 245 (57) Merengo219 (49)

  14. Think it's got to be Grand Slam or nothing. Losing the last game but winning the championship just wouldn't feel right.
  15. Don't understand England changes. Bulk up the pack and get rid of Sackey. What did he do wrong?

With the police being there it seems that way but I doubt there's any law that says you must. Anyone know for sure?

  21. It's grey, rectangular, some sort of logo in the corner and looks dirty.......just a plain old mouse mat really.
  22. I put my foot down today having done a bit of dusting with Mr.Sheen (I'm not afraid to admit it) when I discoovered an old mouse mat hiding under a newer one. I decided that this was for the bin given the state of it. However my other half is a hoarder (I'm sure it's an illness) and has told me that if in three days she can't find a use for it, it can go. Have you any useful ideas to help her along the way..............the clock is ticking.
