  1. Well done Z! I don't understand why admin didn't find the name of the other thread offensive. Perhaps they can reply? Not too worried by today's performance as it's all a learning curve for the players. I think there are plenty of places up for grabs in the test team but I hope like you Shane Williams isn't picked. He is not on form and doesn't have physical presense. As for wings I think Bowe has to be a cert and I suspect Fitzgerald will get in too.
  2. Question is, do you blame the backs or the forwards?

I'm > clearly not good at this. What do you mean EVEN the Irishmen? What are we some sub species? I'm well pissed off with that. Well done!
  4. Brendan Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > So apparently we have to call them the British and > Irish Lions. What part of England is Iriland in > anyway? Sounds West Indian to me. Brendan Ireland is in the West of England. Did you come here for an education 'cause it didn't work? Frankly I think the Lions should be called The Celtic & English Lions.
  5. Was that not the Bore's?
  6. Please get the bl**dy name right! We deserve that at least. We have the captain, the other captain and have had more captains than any other bl**dy country. Didn't you see how we civilised this place on BBC4 last night?
  7. How does one recognise a real posh person? I thought donkeys brayed!
  8. Well, someone has survived!A Song by a student
  9. Unprepared at a bus stop?
  10. No sterling.................explain to me please. I may be slow!
  11. Having had a peek at the 'hate' thread which was depressing simply because if you hate it it's not worth writing about, please enlighten us with what you love! There's probably a thread like this elsewhere but so what. I will start the ball rolling with a song from Van Morrisons 'Astral Weeks' called 'The Way Young Lovers Do'. I would like to expand my knowledge of music through the ages so please feel free to add to the collection. I guess it's all subjective but give it a go and try to find something in your memory banks that just can't be dismissed.
  12. I was in the CPT too and left after the game. There was a boy and a bicycle at the scene so I think it was more likely he was involved rather than a car.
  13. Thanks for your input Huguenot (and others). I wasn't coming from anywhere in particular with the link apart from having come accross it. That then led me to read about Phorm of which there is a lot of negative stuff written. Going back to my original question,my teenage son downloads music from I don't know where. If he is doing this illegally what are the chances of him being caught?
  14. Having read your responses I came accross this when trying to access the website for swapping my modem. What do you make of the comments? Swap
  15. I've just been offered a new modem from my broadband supplier. Seemed great. I decided to run this by the local PC expert who live upstairs and comes down for meals. We are related. He reckons this newer technology may well allow the supplier to monitor what we might be downloading (him in particular) and that made him uncomfortable about it. He gets music from I don't know where but I guess he doesn't want to share this information particularly. What do you know or think? Is this Big Brother getting into our home or not?

  17. and crap spelling programmes!

  19. And what exactly has that supposed conversation to do with JG?

  21. I say it is. Between TV and Radio I would say I'm happy to pay my fee. What do you say? PS There's a lot of prime time stuff I just can't watch but mostly it's very good.

  23. I think you hit the nail on the head with that Sean.
  24. Actually Parky left the BEEB if I remember correctly. I don't see anything wrong or incorrect about his comments. Jade's rise to 'fame' is more a reflection on anyone bothered to read about her than whatever she was herself. If she made the most of it then good for her and it's probably nothing any of us here wouldn't have done given the circumstances. I'm just amazed she got such publicity. What did she do?
