But doesn't it actually make you wonder if the loan system is being abused or that the rules aren't fair? If they have used 5 loan players it's almost half a team. I seem to vaguely remember some Div 1 team getting promoted in the last few years who had loads of loan players they couldn't them keep when they were promoted and went back down. Another possible way of looking at this is that the managers are taking revenge on those who dismiss one of their kind too easily.

Not to him.......it's son related. Football happens to be involved but nothing to do with his actions. After all it would have been better for the players and the club if he left them there to gain experience.

He did write in the programme for the Man U v Arse game recently telling ManU fans to lay off Wenger with the distasteful chanting about he having an unhealthy interest in young boys. He also seems to be popular with his fellow managers. If ever there's an indication of someone being ok, it probably that. Like I said, this action was him in Dad mode. Sometimes you do things you regret and he may yet regret it. Just don't put this action in the same category as everything else he has done. It's different. It's not football related.

Does the writer of your extract from the Guardian have any particular affinity with Liverpool? You don't actually know who even wrote it but because you liked it's content slapped it on here. You don't have to have an affinity with a club to be able to express an opinion on it. What is the other side of the coin?
