Hello 'Geek's'. I hope you won't mind my imposing again.I have a problem with my laptop which is only a year old. I discovered it wouldn't play a DVD but did play CD's. After much internet research I tried a couple of things without resolving the problem. I then discovered that it would play some DVD's. Note that the unplayable one's on the laptop were perfectly playable on our normal DVD player. Does this sound like a problem with the optical drive and if so why would it play some but not others? I spoke with Medion's customer support service whose only suggestion was to see if there were any 'firmware' updates. This I haven't found out how to do yet. Anyone know what the problem is likely to be please?

If you had read the sign you wouldn't have parked there though.

I must has Houllier has looked like a fish out of water anytime I've seen him interviewed. Something not quite 'well' about him.

Actually Tarot I was once given a microwave as a present and it's still going strong. I also have a sandwich maker which I use too.

Christmas was fun when I was a kid or when my kid was a kid. But I've spent one on my own too in London without feeling I was missing anything. However if it's considered a day to show how much you care for people, you can do that any day of the year and all the nicer it will be if it's March the 16th at 3 o clock than December the 25th, when it's can be an obligation.

I liked a recent one from ex footballer Alan Brazil who found himself in Australia covering the cricket for Talksport. The figure may not be exactly right but it went like this: blah blah blah and now Australia are 211 for 8'o clock!

While you are on an away day Ed, we Irish have already got a foothold in NZ. Personally, excluding America where we are all over the place (and that's just my family) we have made inroads into France, Italy and Spain (apart from Scout in NZ). Scout has taken over your national broadcasting station and soon the plan will evolve. Don't expect to be aware of it though. Once he presses the button, you and your like will start walking towards the sea and never be heard of again. There will be no WC win in 2011!
