  1. I have used this service in the past and we are lucky to have such a thing in this day and age or any other for that matter. However, once upon a time when we had particularly noisy neighbours I at least got some enjoyment out of it when they were having a party on their first floor. I attached a tennis ball to some string which was attached to a stick of some sort. This allowed me to hit a decent backhand (being left handed) onto their window which made a noise without breaking the glass. They were left wondering WTF was that as I smiled to myself being able to retrieve the ball without it being seen.
  2. Fact is the some of the players were OTT on the course. Far too American IMO. I know they get excited but there was too much rabble rousing over the week-end. If only they all behaved like the Spaniard who was class. I thought the best two players over the w/e were Cink and young Ricky Fowler.
  3. How did Monty milk it Mick? I thought he was a good captain and was very honourable in victory. Pavin was great all week.
  4. You've become 'unstuck' W**F!
  5. Young McIlroy is still a work in progress after a number of errors at crucial moments. The 21-year-old had his moments, but missed a short putt for a half on 17 and leaked his pitching wedge approach into the right greenside bunker on 18, after finding the water with his second on the same hole earlier in the day to leave his partner under pressure. This is from The BBC sports website. GMc was hardly going to describe his partner as crap was he? Is that 3 up and 4 to play? Just heard a rule I didn't know. As it's going to have to finish tomorrow,if there are any unfinished singles at 18.43 they will count as a half. Could lead to some slow play if the time becomes an element.
  6. Indeed not Katie4567..........lack of postings indicate a lack on interest. Which I hope is not the case.

You may have watched the 'highlights' Mick. I watched it all.
  9. Not one report back........are u still there?
  10. Rory didn't shine at all Mick, neither Harrington. both will improve I'm sure,.
  11. I think Cory Pavin is about the only American Captain I've liked. I hated him as a US player but as a Captain he's top class. I like Monty too though anything would be better than Faldo.
  12. I like this accidental format where they all have to play. So far the Yanks deserve to be ahead as a few Europeans blew chances.I still think Europe will win...........just about.

You just googled it. Potato head!
  14. He'll probably be off on Monday too.
  15. I'm rich.......I'll take used notes Brendan I personally prefer track number three.
  16. There's no 'k'........ok?
  17. Nothing wrong with the venue. It's just it should have been played 2-3 weeks ago but due to the American tour's Fed-ex Cup, it couldn't.
  18. A man walked out to the street and caught a taxi just going by. He got into the taxi, and the cabbie said, "Perfect timing. You're just like Brian!" Passenger: "Who?" Cabbie: "Brian Sullivan. He's a guy who did everything right all the time. Like my coming along when you needed a cab, things happen like that to Brian Sullivan, every single time." Passenger: "There are always a few clouds over everybody." Cabbie: "Not Brian Sullivan. He was a terrific athlete. He could have won the Grand Slam at tennis. He could golf with the pros. He sang like an opera baritone and danced like a Broadway star and you should have heard him play the piano. He was an amazing guy." Passenger: "Sounds like he was something really special." Cabbie: "There's more. He had a memory like a computer. He remembered everybody's birthday. He knew all about wine, which foods to order and which fork to eat them with. He could fix anything. Not like me. I change a fuse, and the whole street blacks out. But Brian Sullivan, he could do everything right." Passenger: "Wow. Some guy then." Cabbie: "He always knew the quickest way to go in traffic and avoid traffic jams. Not like me, I always seem to get stuck in them. But Brian, he never made a mistake, and he really knew how to treat a woman and make her feel good. He would never answer her back even if she was in the wrong; and his clothing was always immaculate, shoes highly polished too. He was the perfect man! He never made a mistake. No one could ever measure up to Brian Sullivan." Passenger: "An amazing fellow. How did you meet him?" Cabbie: "Well, I never actually met Brian. He died and I'm married to his f'ing widow."
  19. Aah..........surely you mean Aum?
  20. You two are sisters, aren't you?
  21. 1,102?
  22. Why don't you answer the question I asked you earlier Mick?
  23. Fact is Ireland are fairly crap at football at the moment and it didn't really matter that we missed out on the WC. The 'superior' French showed how crap our qualifying group must have been.
  24. Shouldn't 'loose prose' be spelt 'lose prose' as everyone these days seems to spell 'lose' as 'loose'? Am I loosing it?
