I think I agree with you. The idea as presented reminds me of that naff advert years ago voiced by Brian Sewell for I think the National Gallery where he said it was a great cafe with a gallery attached. In this case will it be a public toilet with a gallery attached or the other way round?!

Thanks all for your advice specially mockney piers. I tried your advice but couldn't find any. Basically I think at some point I deleted everything in the library bar that I had purchased. I have now put all my CDs back on the computer and in to my iPod. I am not very keen on iPod since - when it is attached to the laptop/computer - you can not click on the iPod and see what is IN your iPod. Change the room your bedroom is currently, to one at the back. Use industrial strength motorcycling earplugs but do remember to clean them regularly to prevent ear infections. Go out for some nights out to Clapham or Brixton or Putney and be grateful for the bus home. If - while on the bus - you think it is very noisy (get off at the stop PAST your house so you know) - ask the driver why he drove so noisily and/or write to TfL as above (Kensington post) and explain your thoughts to them. There are a lot of elderly people around Torridge Gardens SE15 and that road has not been gritted. I rang the number 020 7525 2000 (Option 5 by the way) and they said it was due to be done today. But it's 3.15pm getting dark and still not done. My estate is like an ice rink. Just so's you (Councillors) know. Thanks for any help you can give.

"Live and Let Live". Daft suggestion. (Live and let DIE surely. And so we feel that way about people who might be drug addicts or who we suspect are abusing kids or animals "Live and let live".). If it is affecting your health (as it would mine - I am lucky none of my neighbours have this addiction which has serious consequences for my own health) I would simply ask the council for advice. I sympathise with you I really do. A horrid situation.

There did of course use to be a lido in the 1980s. They are expensive to maintain. Southwark can't even afford to maintain its own public toilets; yathink they can afford to rebuild and then maintain their lido? No. They can't. It ain't gonna happen. Meanwhile, either demolish the building, or lease it to Wetherspoons or the cafe people "Peckham Rye Park Cafe North"!
