There's more fighting and singing than you can shake a stick at!! I have been running this galleon for 6 years now and to date have suffered a cracking of each rib I possess, three broken legs and multiple other fractures, at least 12 of which have been caused by outdated opinions on womens position in the workplace

Come on my pirate themed train adventure, we will take a steam train to dover at which point we will board dubluke's famous gallion, once at sea you will only be allowed to eat preserved biscuits and drink rum, after a few weeks you will be enjoying that healthy yellow jaundice glow, attractive bleeding gums and of course, a raging hangover

  7. Sorry louisa, according to east dulwich specific licensing requirements you are no longer allowed to buy scampi fries or the like, the only snacks permissible to buy are kettle chips and a small selection of dried fruit from the deepest parts of the amazonian rainforest, organic of course

  9. cmon everybody, lets not be ridiculous, lordship lane pubs are hardly rough boozers
  10. Love it when you spot stuff near to your house in films, was a bit disappointed by 28 weeks later though, the first one totally eclipses it

    Spotify

Narnia Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > What is it as a matter of interest? Spotify is a program for streaming mp3's for free, it's laid out in quite a similar way to itunes, you can also pay to download stuff permanently. Loads of people signed up and eventually they started restricting access as they were quite over subscribed, so now you have to have an invite code from an existing member to gain access. If you buy the premium version (which allows you to listen on your iphone, has no adverts and higher quality mp3's) then you get a few invite codes to give out to mates

    Damp

james84 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Does anyone know who is responsoble for damp in a > leasehold property. Is it the freeholder or > leaseholder, or both? hi james, depends where the damp is coming from/what is causing it, and what the terms of your lease are. If your lease states that the freeholder is responsible for care of external walls etc. and the damp is coming from an external wall, then the freeholder is responsible for repairing it and should do so using funds from the service charge you pay to them.

Edit - that said I'm not sure it would work out that well for me, my internet is proper shite and I'd be waiting all day for the film to download
  16. SeanMacGabhann Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Even Lovefilm and the like have a limited lifespan > IMO. I guess, do you mean because you can watch loads of films online now? there is a lot of availability to watch films on the web now(I mean legally rather than all those dvd rip sites) - that said I can't stand watching a film on a laptop, tiny screen and if you're watching with more than one person it's a reet drag.

  18. very sad to hear there was a hit and run, hope no-one was seriously hurt, traffic appears to be moving again on Grove Vale...
  19. all my mates kept complaining that it took bloody ages for UCAS to post in online so unforutunately reckon it probably is an urban myth

  22. fill a bowl with some couscous and leave the ipod sitting in it for a few days, the cous cous draws out a load of the moisture from the player and hopefully it will start working again once dried out, this girl I used to work with did that after leaving her iphone in her jeans and then washing them and it worked fine after the cous cous trick

I fear it may be, I was once persuaded into going there with some people from my old job and the music was dire stuff like whitney and lionel, all night long (no pun intended!). There was also an irritating australian barman who shouted "DIDN'T YA MOTHER TELL YA TO USE A FUCKING COASTER?!?!?!?!??!" when I didn't use a coaster....
