  1. Louisa hunting blow-ins.
  2. I'm inclined to agree that although these parking companies are very dodgy, they have time limits for a reason. They're not free public car parks.
  3. Indeed, I want spooky stories, not a science lecture.
  4. This thread is much more boring than the title suggests.
  5. Get a nearly new one but from an authorised dealer of that make of car. You're much more likely to get one that has been looked after and serviced properly and you will probably be able to get a decent warranty as well.

    Dildos.

I hated her and her coffee table music. "White Flag" is particularly loathsome.
  7. I once sat on a tube seat without realising that someone has wet themselves on it. I can still smell it, years later. 8. Yes, you are making something of a tit of yourself Cyclist. It all looks a bit masochistic to be honest.
  9. Shall we start the "doing your make-up on public transport, acceptable/unacceptable" debate again? That one was fun.
  10. Quite. robbin Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > No it isn't the whole question. > > It's just more argumentative rambling that makes > no grammatical or semantic sense. > > Fyi - Common sense is a basic ability to perceive, > understand, and judge things, which is shared by > ("common to") nearly all people, and can be > reasonably expected of nearly all people without > any need for debate.
  11. But common sense would dictate that it's a very stupid thing to do. Cyclist Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > > The highway code did not specify that cycling with > dog is illegal. >
  12. I saw his willy once. I am not joking.
  13. Ratatouille. It's an amazing film.
  14. You think? I reckon it will do a roaring trade. natty01295 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > M&S food is much more expensive so there won't be > many customers in lordship lane store, > Iceland is better value for your money its always > fresh as well, so what do you think about it > closing ??
  15. I agree it's revolting but I am deeply depressed by the sheer number of petitions these days. I've signed many in the past but every day I get emails about petitions on pretty much every subject under the sun. So many that they now seem worthless. Letter writing campaigns would probably be a better way to go?
  16. Is this about the new Waitrose?
  17. Pedestrians had right of way.
  18. I'd like to post another hearty recommendation for Billy. He replaced our boiler last week, which meant relocating it, doing a fair bit of pipework and upgrading our gas piping all the way from the outside meter. Billy is punctual, friendly and tidy and thinks his way around a problem. There were no nasty surprises with the bill and he also replaced a radiator and is coming back to do another one soon. I can't recommend him enough, a vast improvement on the last heating company we used in our old place and we wouldn't hesitate to call on him again.
  19. Yes. DulwichFox Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Can anyone just walk in for a drink/snack.. > without watching a film or being a member. ?? > > > > DulwichFox

    Gay saturation.

    Don't feed the troll.
  21. The Smiths (more to the point, Morrissey), Oasis, Coldplay, The Who, U2, Muse. Just a few examples of how my life would be no less rich if they had never existed.
  22. Debbie.
  23. We were in screen 2 the other night and it is raked but possibly not quite enough. cella Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Went in the week to see Force Majeure. 24. Have you been promoted to chief forum police office or something, Sue?! Thanks for your input though.
