The Garrison on Bermondsey Street is also fab.

Some people obsess over this and it bothers them. Most of us barely notice it. It's all about perception.

A doner kebab is far less healthy than a franco manca pizza. That sort of meat would cancel out any health benefits from the cheap salad. Everything in moderation.

It's not our fault that chickens are daft (not as daft as vegans though.)

There are no taller trees on GG roundabout for good reasons, practical and aesthetic. Fantastic that there are plans for lots of trees elsewhere though.

There are so many petitions nowadays. Although I do think the "fireworks season" does go on for too long, there are much more worthwhile things to make a petition about. The sheer ubiquity of them is resulting in none of them having any impact.

I imagine that's one of the problems, they still weren't getting it right at that stage and like us, many probably went just the once and decided not to return. These days there are quite a few good places locally for food in that price bracket and below, so anything that isn't good enough won't survive for long.

I live in Camberwell now too and really don't think it's bad. I didn't when I lived in East Dulwich and I don't now. I don't see the point in these petitions - they are just designed to divert planes over someone else's house. Why would anyone take that idea seriously and how is that reasonable? I'm inclined to agree with Nigello - if you want to hear it you will.
