  1. And only one of them is even in Dulwich.
  2. Countdown to Lady Delilah and all cyclists good, all motorists bad nonsense.
  3. Next time, follow her home and take a dump at her front door.
  4. Hmm. Lack of spatial awareness is annoying. I hate fat people who walk diagonally across the pavement swinging one arm for momentum.

They don't really want us to look at it (they have a much, much nicer house on for the same money.) They say there's no point looking at it until the owner returns from abroad and they've spoken to him about the current market. I don't see how this would work as a scam. I'm also finding that they don't ALL overvalue at the moment. We've had 3 valuations, all wildly different and those at the lower end saying that a few months ago they'd have agreed with the higher valuations but not now.

There's one house we'd like to look at that's on for a ridiculous amount of money. Estate agent says they valued it lower but the vendor refuses to drop the price, there it sits, unsold.
  7. Hubby and me, casually walking down LL and the loudest thundercrack imaginable. Hubby ducked. Not sure if that usually works but on this occasion we were unscathed. Yes, and bricks blown out of the back of your house doesn't sound like much fun.
  8. The general feeling among agents seems to be that prices have levelled off in recent weeks. People have been asking for overinflated prices and those sales have stalled now and it's likely to stay that way for a bit.
  9. Once upon a time you'd earn many times that for a commercial. Is this a studio fee plus repeats or is it a buyout?
  10. It's quite a feat to have missed the coverage of this.
  11. Let's hope they ketchup with the perpetrator(s).
  12. Who said it was domestic violence?
  13. Yes, the 2040 thing does rather detract from the excitement.
  14. All road users have a responsibility to be as safe as they can possibly be, whether lorries, cars, buses, motorbikes or bikes. I find it frankly bizarre that anyone thinks riding around at night on a bike with a kid with no lights is anything but irresponsible.
  15. Yay! Another house prices thread!
  16. Yes, second grade? We don't have such nonsense in Blighty you know.
  17. Tell us about the PIG thing!
  18. I want to know more about the "PIG" story.

Are you this unpleasant in real life?
  20. Further to James' comment, an interesting article saying Councillors support two routes http://www.london-se1.co.uk/news/view/7741
  21. I don't take it to heart, just think it's stupid.
  22. Why the competition? Ridiculous.

However, our weather is now in your hands.
  24. It's nature's revenge on those who spell lightning "lightening".
