  5. I'd like to get a quote from Sundial but getting no response from the contact form on their website. Anyone else managed to get in touch recently?
  6. London is the 6th French city by population so not surprising that a few have gravitated down here.
  7. Looks a bit like a mahonia to me. https://www.google.co.uk/#q=mahonia

    Rye Lane

I agree with all the 'pro' Rye Laners. I like it as it is, though having said that I also like what's happened to the Brixton village area even though it's been the target of similar anti-gentrification protest.
  9. Bessemer Grange is another local school worth considering - lots of positive feedback on here.
  10. Do you have a brown bin? If not you can request one from the Southwark website. http://www.southwark.gov.uk/info/200084/recycling_and_waste/2352/request_a_bin_or_additional_food_waste_bags/1
  11. If the OP's still interested, there's a cubs and scouts group that also meets at St Faiths on Fridays I think.
  12. There's a brownie pack that meets on Mondays at St Faiths, Red Post Hill. http://www.southwark.gov.uk/directory_record/2156/north_dulwich_brownie_pack_5th
  13. Treehouse is a specialist school for autistic children and young adults in north London. Not sure if they have branches elsewhere. http://www.ambitiousaboutautism.org.uk/treehouse_school/index.cfm. You could also look at the special educational needs board on Mumsnet. http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/special_educational_needs

  16. Ooh yes, I agree about the cobbler. He fixed the zip on my purse for nothing. Will definitely be using him again for all my cobbling needs!
  17. Another interesting post on the Brixton blog is the restaurant to be opened at Brixton prison. Porridge anyone?
  18. I doubt an open tread staircase between 1st and 2nd floors would pass building regs as it would be a fire risk. You may have to have that replaced for a more standard 'boxed in' design when you do the full conversion.
  19. Whereabouts is this?
  20. I used Colour B4 when I had a home colouring disaster. It was brilliant - my hair returned to exactly how it was pre-colour. http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=1000978
  21. Search children's bedrooms on Pinterest. It's great for inspiration and not addictive at all!
  22. There's a boot sale in the car park of Brockwell Park lido this weekend (Aug 18th). No idea if they're any good though.
  23. Lots of late deals inc. flights on Icelolly.com
  24. Hi Minitoots, if the place you stayed at in Aberdeenshire is available to the public, would you mind PMing me the details? It looks awesome.
