This looks like the same problem that was occurring earlier in the year which is said to have been rectified though clearly there is still something wrong. http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?20,1272263,1273117#msg-1273117 -

There are a few direct trains going to Wimbledon from ED already first thing in the morning. I think there used to be a lot more a few years ago. What's a ticket gateline?

Been happening for centuries. The annual May Fair held in, er, Mayfair was closed partly due to complaints from the toffs who had moved into their newly built mansions in the early 18th century about the noise and debauchery. However as regards noise from The Patch, it seems clear that the conditions for their license are being breached.

A planning application for this site has been discussed before though for more dwellings. http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?5,1220753,page=1 As Jeremy says, what sort of disruption do you think it will cause to users of the Leisure Centre? -

Good to see the post from mrsc_89. With some exceptions, it is rare to see a post that's considered and balanced, lacks hysteria or drama, and doesn't pick up on another's grammatical etc shortcomings.

So before they are rented to a household of two professional couples, does this mean they will be pitched to the buy to let market rather than first time buyers? This kind of prediction is ridiculous, couples do have children or is it anticipated they will be evicted at this stage? > > M&S. Exactly, which emphasises how important it is for the planning committee to heed the views of those living in the close vicinity whose lives will be badly affected by the structural and logistics changes rather than be overwhelmed by a brand blindness which may turn out to be a total red herring (as well as a stalking horse!)

I wish you luck but the bottom line for me is until registered with the Charity Commission and there is information regarding which charities will be supported, basic requirements for a charity shop, I don't feel inclined to either donate or purchase. There are some causes I would chose to help without hesitation, there are others which I wouldn't. Is it legal to trade as a charity when not approved by the Charity Commission? Sorry to come over as negative, could just be your enthusiasm has made you impatient to get going.

Very exciting, and if you become one of the first 1000 founder members your name will be added to an art installation and your name will become a permanent part of the building (it says on the website).

There have also been some more photos added to those originally hung on the wall opposite the Palmerston. Fascinating, a lovely idea.

I'm only guessing, but although the red brickwork was only laid down a short while ago, it had already deteriorated badly and had become deeply rutted and very uneven. Though it might not look so attractive, the tarmac will prove to be more hard-wearing and practical.
