  1. Speaking from experience when you have the little one(s) money in the bank for a rainy day is so reassuring! As inevitable your joint income will come down (maternity leave etc) and in some cases change of jobs to suit the little one.
  2. I would also recommend Michelle at Bentleys she does a great job with my Glen who is slight unusual.
  3. Hi there I'm sure Brockwell is open if that helps.
  4. In the nature reserve gated section behind the cafe in Dulwich Park. Follow the path around and at the back are lots of blackberries.
  5. Hi there or Volcano coffee has a van based in West Dulwih excellent coffee.
  6. Hi there do you mean Belhair Park car park? It usually opens well before 8.00am if this helps. Marie

  8. Sounds good, but you maybe perceived as a loon unless of course you have a dog! I say hello all the time to complete strangers - to fellow dog walkers... Good luck!
  9. I would love M & S on Lordship Lane ... there I said it! Love the ?10 weekend deal.
  10. Ah great news looking forward to having a look.
  11. Unfortunately also the foxes attack the bins hence the mess early in the morning.
  12. Another solution is human hair around your perimeter. When I visited the hairdressers once she was collecting the hair in a bag to give to her friend to put on her bushes who was suffering from foxes. I don't really fancy the ideal of hair flowing in the wind on your bushes!
  13. This thread has amazed me firstly Ruby Shoes if I totally agree with where you are coming from but have you read 'The Lady In The Van' by Alan Bennett. As a child I remember passing this amazing house in Camden (the posh part - Gloucester Terrace) and couldn't work out why a dirty old van was parked in the drive with a scary old lady inside. Years later when 'The Lady In The Van' was in the West End I pieced everything together. Mum confirmed it was Alan Bennett's house.
  14. 1. Baby bjorn Bouncer - a big toe does the trick and when they are heavy enough they can bounce themselves. 2. Fisher Price Rainforest Cot Mobile - the little one loves it in his cot. 3. I-Candy Cherry very light, easy to fold. 4. Tommy Tippee Close to Nature Bottles 5. Handcream - for after washing your hands repeatable. 6. A bundle of clothes from the Forum... then you can save you items for more expensive items. 7. Cath Kidson Cowboy Print Nappy bag - still cheers me up looking at it :) Good luck!
  15. Dear Hello Sailor, I bet by the time I have posted this message you little one has finally pooed. Don't worry this does happen, there are some breast fed babies I have come across (but they were three months) who had not pooed for four days! This does seem extreme though. Unfortunately with my little one at the moment I have the opposite problem and he has had diarrhoea for days! Off to the doctors tomorrow... All the best
  16. Hi MrsAk, I bought an I-Candy Cherry with carry cot (for the first six months). I have found it brilliant really light and excellent to manoeuvre. My son is very long and at 5 and a bit months is now in the buggy part. The top (carry cot or buggy part) comes away simply and one button folds the base. You do not get punchures with the tyres. I went with an open mind and test drove several models in John Lewis, then opted for I-Candy in fudge (as I didn't know the sex of my baby). The best of luck with the baby. Marie
  17. Dear Mrs T, I have found your blanket! I have just logged on and the wonders of the Forum have now found the owner. I know what it is like to have something personally knitted or crochetted having just had a son. Please PM me and I will be happy to meet you in the park. I have already done the park run today with the dog so maybe tomorrow morning? Marie
  18. Kate - John Lewis prices for the Cherry was ?360.00 for the prsm/frame, ?60.00 for the cot part and I think it was about 40.00 for the mattress, ?40.00 for the car connectors. Not sure how much the Cosy Toes are. Mazza
  19. Kate I am going for the ICandy Cherry - at first was looking at a Mammas and Pappas model until I test drove various models in John Lewis. I then instantly made my mind up with the ICandy - really light, easy to dismantle and didn't look small like the Bugaboo which was important for my other half. Good luck I am due on the 27th August so hope to order this soon :)
