  1. Dear Moos, I presume you are referring to me. I dug up the old threads so that the op could see that they were not alone in this discussion. I did not dig them up so people could laugh although if you have a service on the high street but lack complete customer service and/or act in a bizarre manner towards your supposed clients, some people might find it amusing. Perhaps some new posters aren't aware of the 'search' function also. Do we not discuss businesses on this forum, good and bad? This is the second time you've had a go at me and I find it slightly irritating. Time to relax honey. Best, -C
  2. Here you go Pez.
  3. Here and here make for interesting reads.
  4. but can you spot the two differences PGC?

  6. Sorry if this has been mentioned but Henry's Wikipedia page was vandalised when someone referred to him as 'Le C*nt.' Made me chuckle.
  7. I love louisa's personality and love reading her posts, they make me happy to be me.
  8. Hopefully, you have more than one for sale.
  9. My husband is now heading down to Le Chardon with a club
  10. I ate everything (literally) whilst pregnant except for raw or cured meats. Never had a problem with the sashimi, peanut butter, eggs and (whisper it) the occasional glass of wine/champagne and all kinders are fine. I just wouldn't eat these things from a Moto or Little Chef and as Lorraine says everything in moderation.
  11. Just booked my youngest bruiser (girl) for the 2-3 year old session! Thanks for the info Vik!
  12. I react the same way with lemon! Probably more so with tobasco (my fav on oysters).
  13. iaineasy Wrote: > And now for the karma update I found a fiver > whilst walking along carryingmy ladder to work > this morning!! BONUS! What? And you did post signs up around the road asking if anyone lost a fiver? Karma.
  14. To be honest, it doesn't bother me having viewed that video nor does eating drunken shrimp or live lobster carpaccio or oysters for that matter. A lot does seem to be unnecessary. Having said that I don't agree with Halal/Kosher methods of butchering and I draw a personal line where I wouldn't knowingly eat this type of meat. For Mick Mac - do oysters feel pain
  15. Yes, a bit unnecessary but the fish is pretty much dead as it's been partially fried but to compare this to Saudi Arabian penal practices is a slight stretch, no?
  16. Heidi, I too have had the jab as a child but do not have a scar on my arm. I think they can also do a blood test to see if you have immunity.
  17. Hope Karma goes around for that other cat!
  18. Sam, Perhaps Children's Social Services is the way to go. At least they can keep a record on her should things escalate and get worse. Emotional abuse of children should not be tolerated, in my humble opinion, and you are being a good neighbour to be worried. Hope it's resolved soon. Best, -C Edited to say cross posted with Ted Max (obviously takes me 6 minutes to add the link!).
  19. Okay, SteveT, I'll start bathing in bleach for protection!
  20. Us too Molly, 4 year old boosters were absolutely dreadful. My husband had to hold our screaming daughter down while I sat in the waiting room with my toddler pretending nothing was wrong despite the awful shrieks. To this day she has an absolute fear of doctors, needles, and anything that resembles a hospital! Sorry for going off topic.
  21. Yes, my children seem to drag all new unknown illnesses into my home. The little dumplings recover within 24/48 hours whereas it mutates into the bubonic plague for me and my husband!
  22. Valium anyone?
