  1. I think Huguenot is correct in (a roundabouts way) saying that driving would take significantly longer than on public transport.
  2. Same route as DavidM said up College Road apart from adding on the perimeter of Crystal Palace which brings you back to Sydenahm Hill. Myself and my running partner go from near the top of Barry Road and its 7 miles there abouts. Some good hills as well.
  3. Betting on the race horses :)...its almost like the real thing...not knowing who the hell will win.
  4. To your question, yes Dulwich Hamlets has free weights.
  5. The front fence and garden aren't really inspiring. Paying that much for a property you would expect something more.
  6. They'll also benefit from a swimming pool when London has flooding again.
  7. Yep it was 1 lap and a bit anticlockwise round the park road then out the park at Court Lane as Jumpinjackflash said then into the main entrance and clockwise to the finish which was just past the start.
  8. Did it in 21.29...was amazed when i looked at my watch as I knocked off 1 minute 30 secs from last year :)
  9. Myself and a friend are running on the day (today) and from looking at the race details its ?8 to enter if you're unattached and ?6 if attached. Don't know if 'attached' means attached to the Dulwich club or any running club.
  10. This is now our local and I like it a lot. Excellent range of beer/lager etc. Eaten in there once and was very good.
  11. Last time i did a timed 5km i did it in 22mins 50secs so hopefully fingers crossed will beat that.
  12. Marble Arch Bus from Lordship Lane (near Heber Road) to Denmark Hill, train from DH to Victoria, Bus from Victoria to Marble Arch. 45-50 mins and no tube..ahh...lovely.
  13. Or you could try Peckham Rye which is much nicer to jog round, it's approx 1.7miles but you can cut corners if you need to.
  14. Problem is my boss is in his mid 40's...about time I told him me thinks.
  15. My boss says 'chimley' rather than 'chimney'....lol
  16. Mmmmm..summer rolls, glad to here your're coming to LL...rather than another blummin' curry house.
  17. Whilst out running with a friend last night we saw Mr. Onion man outside a house on Heber Road. It was about 7.30pm, and his bike was loaded with onions.....must not have sold many that day.
  18. Hmmmm...interesting, sounds a bit hit 'n' miss so far.
  19. Well hopefully a few more comments will arrive so we can make our minds up.
  20. Has anyone experienced the food at the EDT recently? Is it any good? Haven't been for a while so am not sure. If there are any relevant threads let me know
  21. A bit late in the week to say this, but last Sunday I was walking through Dulwich and found some house keys just outside Dulwich Picture Gallery. I handed them in to a staff member in the cafe at the Gallery.
