Be careful! Phone snatching attempt - East Dulwich Road

People should not get their phones out in a public place. Women should not walk down the road alone. Elderly people should stay in doors and not venture out after dark. Children should not be allowed to play outdoors. Then it would be a lovely world with less crime. 2nd Option. Catch these Ar*****s and bang them up. Then our streets really WOULD be a safer place. Stop all this Pussy Footing around. DulwichFox -

I have seen on many occasions in many locations bikes(Scooters) being ridden recklessly. Groups of youths sitting on bikes. They are everywhere. No Foot Patrol Police to confront them. Plenty of Police driving at speed Twos and Blues down lordship Lane. If all Police are to be in cars, we need them to cruise around the backstreets where most crime is perpetrated. I.E. Burglaries... Robberies... Muggings... Scooter Theft... Car Theft.. DulwichFox. -

The main reason that cycle hangers are being installed is to encourage car owners to ditch their cars and cycle. And yet we have people who have cycle hanger spaces and still have a car parked in the same road or nearby. Whilst some people without cars cannot get a cycle hanger space. Maybe it would be fairer if cycle hanger spaces would only be allocated to those who do not own a car. DulwichFox

People do not look closely at any any presented I.D. and could not tell if it was genuine. DulwichFox

There are many of these young men (Haven't had any female callers) who seem to have identical plastic baskets of goods. The baskets must be being made from a central location by some 'Fagin' type character and these guys sent out to sell them. The goods are all of very poor quality and too expensive (even if the quality was good) I doubt that the sellers get much of the money from what they sell. They all have a story to tell. Perhaps devised by their 'employers' ? DulwichFox

My Grandfather was a Air Raid Precautions Warden. (ARP) in WW2. He would of been very familiar with these stretchers. He never went into a shelter. Think he may of been afraid of being buried alive. My greatest fear. He walked around with bombs falling. He worked in Peckham in the East Surrey Grove / St Georges Way area. DulwichFox

I did stick to the thread. I said Laptop Squatters did bother me. The reference to quizzes was an aside. Fox

I don't use cafes that much so don't bother me. What bothers me is Pub Quizzes where people sit there for 2-3 hours nursing 1/2 a larger or free Soda and lime. Then sod off at 10 O'clock. Whilst real drinkers have to stand in silence with no music or sports. DulwichFox
