It would seem the entire EE Natioal Network is down. Problems started at 07.56 BST London is the worst hit http://i2.mirror.co.uk/incoming/article11318330.ece/ALTERNATES/s615b/Screen-Shot-2017-10-10-at-115350.png DulwichFox

I think EE must be having some major problems. Their Help line 07953 966 250 no longer rings out when you call it. DulwichFox

Foxes have been making a lot of noise recently but it is not the noise of mating which is high pitched. This is a deep growling noise the likes of which I have never heard before so probably are males as Ganoy suggested. DulwichFox P.S. It wasn't me. :)

When do you switch on your central heating on again for the Winter
DulwichFox replied to mary123's topic in The Lounge
My Heating is on all year round.. The radio controller has 6 settings all set to 19 deg C so during the summer it never kicks in. I do test it throughout the year and sometimes I need to fire it up to dry washing. During the winter I set it to kick in if the room drops below 21 Deg C I am at home all day so need the heat but turn it down if I go out. I have a 'A' Rated Vaillant boiler which is very good. Very quiet which is serviced yearly. DulwichFox -
Enjoyed my outing to Dulwich Hamlet this afternoon. Great game. Good result 2-0 to Dulwich. Needham_Market had a Penalty but it was saved. Game had real pace.. Better than watching Millwall Hoofing the ball up and down the field. Was a pay what you like event.. 2417 in attendance. Good to support out local team. DulwichFox

Same on Ulverscroft.. Market on a Saturday. I go shopping and cannot get back on Ulvercroft anywhere. Not just outside my house until after 6.00pm Friday Prayers at Mosque parking congested between 13.00 & 14.30 Parking difficult due to skips and builders lorries most days.. Also Sunday due to people driving to the area for Pubs and restaurants. Some people won't walk a couple of hundred yards. Definitely getting worse. Some residents on my road have 2 and even 3 vehicles. DulwichFox

Houses of Parliament.. In a state of Decay.. Full of asbestos.. Dangerous wiring.. Crumbling masonry.. no longer fit for purpose.. Lets have some Gentrification here. Pull it down and build a new one. Why spend Millions on trying to repair it. ? Perhaps keep The Elizabeth Tower. Fox

How?often is the pneumococcal vaccine given? Babies receive the pneumococcal vaccine as three separate injections, at 8 weeks, 16 weeks and one year old. People over 65 only need a single pneumococcal vaccination,?which will protect for life. It is not given annually like the flu jab. People with a long-term health condition may need just a single one-off pneumococcal vaccination or five-yearly vaccination, depending on their underlying health problem. DulwichFox

I use both AJ Farmers and Dulwich DIY on a regular basis. Probably the two most useful shops on Lordship Lane. Both within walking distance. What I like about Dulwich DIY. You can always find that little Spring.. washer .. nut .. bolt that you don't know what its called.. A Thing-ummy-bob DulwichFox

Not been to the 'Flicks' for over 40 years Do they still use Film. and projectors. ? Do they still dim the lights ? Or is it all digital screens ? I really do not know. Do they still have Ice-cream ladies during the interval. ? http://www.mirror-photos.co.uk/p/54/1950s-cinema-ice-cream-sales-7700271.jpg Foxy

Mr Patel was a long term business that fell victim to the effects of Gentrification and rent rises. I'm talking about new Businesses who are aware of the rent and rates when they take on a new business and still believe they can a go of it by charging the earth because they only want to work as little hours as possible. Gentrification ... Open a new shop on Lordship Lane or North Cross Road. To be really specialist- only open 3 - 4 days a week.. ( Days not specified ) and only for 2 - 3 hours a per day.. (hours not specified) Special rates on Wednesday.. but not every Wednesday. Then justify high prices on high rent and rates.. Those paying high rent and rates need to be open as much as possible. A closed shop does not make money. That's why new businesses fail. Some people simply do not want to put in the hours.. but expect to get rich in 6 months Guy at Curry Cabin has been there 45 years since he was 16. still working. DulwichFox

The residents of Dulwich Village do not want the nuisance of the restaurants like we have on Lordship Lane. They are happy to come to East Dulwich for a night out and then return to the serenity of the Village afterwards. No noise.. traffic.. drunks.. beggars.. A Grand day / night out hey Grommit ?
