  1. I have new neighbours who are very noisy. Constant loud THUDS like they are dropping Heavy furniture onto wooden floor. I was upstairs earlier and heard loud Thuds and thought .. WTF are they doing in there. Perhaps it wasn't them and was what you heard.. Foxy.
  2. Never heard anything.. From Live Lightning web site , nearest current thunder storms are over Greece and Turkey. You would need good hearing to hear that :) Foxy
  3. You need a Gas Safe Engineer to connect to the Gas supply. It is Illegal for anyone who is not certificate to connect your New appliance. Once connected, Checks will need to be made that there are no leaks. DulwichFox
  4. Maybe there is a problem with people jumping ON the bus without Tapping in with an Oyster card / Pass. DulwichFox
  5. Chestnut
  6. Never got round to going there.. DulwichFox

No need to join.. Just come along on the 14th Dec. Yes we always meet for a Drink before. We will be meeting at the East Dulwich Tavern EDT at 7.00pm and then on to Memsaab at 8.00pm (ish) Foxy
  8. Notch
  9. Just got back from The Ceremony at the Memorial by St. Peters I'm not a religious person but it was quite emotional hearing Hymns I last sang at Primary School. A small band was in attendance to accompany the hymns Traffic was stopped in all directions for 7-8 mins. as a mark of respect. 2 mins silence well observed by those attending and those in cars that waited patiently for traffic to restart. Guns from central London could clearly be heard on the cold prevailing wind. DulwichFox
  10. Sausage.
  11. Possibly just low voltage. If you have energy bulbs fitted they may not function at low voltage. DulwichFox

This thread is about the Co-op and not about the ethics of Hen Eggs. My picture was in reply to your statement So I am not going to continue the debate. Back to the Co-op please. Foxy
  13. I'm fine with Memsaab Mr. P. Count me in. Foxy
  14. Before anyone gets all High and Mighty Most of us really do not what the term Free Range actually means Brace yourself. For these ARE free range hens. Sheds can contain up to nine birds per square metre ? like putting 14 people in a one-bed flat. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/horrifying-truth-brutal-life-free-7634201 DulwichFox
  15. Couple of days back a guy on a bicycle flew down North Cross road at great speed and turned right into Lordship Lane across both lanes. Did not look.. slow down.. just turned leaning at 45%. Some people I feel are not long for this World. If hit by a car, Bus or lorry, the driver would have that on his conscience and would probably get the blame. DulwichFox
  16. The Co-op is disgrace.. Aisles littered with rubbish. Clogged with Wire Cages. Constant leaks and floods. Broken down Freezers.. Food on their best by date. Some past their Use By date. Some reduced. No evidence of management on site. No one to get help from. No strong bags available at checkouts. Limited staff on reduced amount of checkouts. Most Self Service checkouts Card Only. Often requiring Assistance. Complete shambles. Not a pleasant shopping experience. I now use M&S. Fresh Food. Better quality meat and other produce and now no longer more expensive than the Co-op. Currently my preference would be for Memsaab. have been a dozen + times and never had a poor meal. They also have a vast drinks selection including some good wines. Hospitality is the best on offer on the Lane. Foxy
  18. I think it is possible that Rats do not hang around When they Smell a Fox or even see/smell Fox Poo. Foxy
  19. Foxes DO eat Rats .. and Mice.. Foxy
  20. I don't think aircraft stack over East Dulwich. Planes over E.D. are on their final approach into Heathrow. DulwichFox
  21. It's actually nearly Christmas.. and there are no Easter Eggs in the shops yet.. Foxy
  22. Valve
  23. I can do both but prefer 14/12.. Dul Tan would of been nice for Christmas but as we have just been there perhaps Surma. Memsaab has 6 & 8 seat booths plus a massive seating area at the rear of the restaurant. Foxy
