Use a good heavy-duty hammer drill with a Smaller drill bit to make a pilot hole. Then use then correct size bit to finish. Always use quality drill bits. Thames Water have now placed Cards on the windscreens of my car currently outside my house.. and 5 others stating work will start in a few days time. So the work will probably take place 100 metres down the road from me. DulwichFox.

It always seems to me that people in groups with buggies will find the narrowest place to congregate to stop and have a chat. Like . where there are Railings.. Trees... Bins.. I Jest not. Foxy

I received a letter (2 Letters in fact) from Thames Water informing me they will be carrying out Essential Work in the area.. but do not know exactly where this work will take place. ??? The work will take place on Wednesday 28th February between 10.00am and 16.00. The instruction is to look out for Traffic Cones and remove cars .. I live on Ulverscroft Rd. I suspect everyone on this road would of received the same letter BUT .. this IS Thames Water. DulwichFox
