You said that about my eating habits.. For someone that spends most of their social life at the Ivy House and only likes Curry from Ganapati That's pretty rich. I see you have managed to take yet another thread off target. Fox -

(Even that's a > lot..) K.K. is absolutely right. Turmeric id VERY over powering. A curry for 4 people 1 teaspoon is ample. All ground spices should be mixed with water to form a paste so as not to burn when frying.. Foxy

Heads up - door knockers re "energy report"

I keep Curry restaurant T/A Menus.. Everything else goes straight in the recycling. SE22 Magazine.. Dulwich Festival. (I thought at first DF was about Foxy. ) Pizza Flyers go straight in my Outside recycle bin. Dont even get across the fresh hold.. I do not dictate what is junk.. It's all junk. I just keep the Junk i might need. Its a crime just how much unsolicited garbage is put through our doors. Perhaps a 10-20p levy on each flyer printed. DulwichFox -

Heads up - door knockers re "energy report"

I had them at my gaff. I had literally just sat down with my lunch. 14.00 ish. Guy told me I shouldn't be eating lunch at that time. Like WTF has that got to do with him. I asked him why his I.D. card was turned round so could not be seen. He kind of flashed it and turned it back so could not see it. Did not like his attitude one bit. Think he got the message. Later this afternoon he was speaking to my next door neighbour. then said he would talk to me again. I just went inside. Very aggressive. Foxy -
PeckhamRose Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Look. just making a suggestion ok? Apologies Peckham Rose. It's a bit of a throwback to when I was last working. 2008. It was a bit of a BUZZ word and all our managers were telling us to get 'Proactive' The Blair Government were spouting it out at the time, and we all know what happened when Gordon Brown got Proactive back in 2008. I have not suggested in this thread people queue to be seen. My point was about the panic that sets in when any new outlet opens. May I just say something about comments aimed at Louisa. Louisa never sets out to insult and belittle other posters. Unlike some on here. You know who you are. Foxy.

What I can eat is restrictive.. Carbs. Bread, Rice, Potatoes, Things containing Flour. Chocolate, Jam, Dried Fruit, Custard, Red meat. Caffeine. (tea & Coffee) Other people can eat what they like. > > Don't you ever feel like trying something or > somewhere new? I eat the food I like to eat so prepare food at home. I am a very small eater. Typical T/A curry I get 2-3 meals out of. I am happy with one pub of choice. ( I have been a regular at several pubs over the years) Hate change. > > Flans are hardly exotic! No they are not. that's why no one should be paying 7 quid for one (with a few Leaves. I do however eat most of the things I am not supposed to eat. Albeit in very small amounts. Foxy

The people that mend the Pipework are not likely to be the same team that dig the hole and repair the road. Foxy -
Have lived without Flans for 65 years. Never eaten a Flan. Certainly will not be queuing down Lordship Lane with the usual hysterical frenzied mob. 'Bestest Flan I have ever had. Really Yummy... Pricey but we were Stuffed. Deffo going back.' Foxy..

Neither were there for long. The shop is 'owned' by Sema's. The caf? was run by them.. It was a great caf? too which I used to use. They now rent it to Firefly. A specialist shop which you have to know it is there. Dulwichfox
