  1. There is very little difference between a Tart and a Quiche. Tarts often are filled with fruit, Quiche filled with vegetables egg cheese. But that is not the difference. The pastry can vary for both but that does not determine the difference. Both can be eaten cold or hot. Quiche (warm) The main difference is not the filling, but the depth of filling. Quiches tend to have a deeper filling. Note:- It is not determined by having a pastry lid. DulwichFox
  2. I would be surprised if it wasn't protected/listed. If not, there is nothing to stop any new owner from ripping it all out. Would be sacrilege if anyone did that. Foxy.
  3. We have all survived without this place for a couple of years. They have re-launched and its appalling. Why should anyone be concerned. Just give the place a wide berth and continue drinking elsewhere. Foxy

  6. Noisy Brash 'pub'? with warm poorly kept Ale.. Expensive over-rated food. A good make over with nice staff and poor management. And yes, the lights are dreadful. Looks like a Fun Fair. Only noisier. DulwichFox
  7. Might be useful (later) as evidence to take a photograph of the mark. Then wash it off. DulwichFox
  8. Would not of expected it to of been anything else.. But then I'm DulwichFox .. an Old Cynic. ;-)

  16. There was rumours that Swadesh was to become a Tapas Bar. Well the Swadesh sign has been removed only to reveal a Tapas Restaurant sign. NOT a new sign, but and old one. I don't remember the place having once been a Tapas Place. Suppose it must of been ? How long ago would that of been. ?? Foxy

CodFellas is Very good but a twenty minute walk for me. Semas went through a bad patch but the person responsible now works/ owns (disputeably) at Rosies. Semas is consistently good Nice Chips and HUGE portions. Crispy Batter. This was a Small Cod. it was enormous Lovely batter big flakes of white flesh.. DulwichFox
  18. Every day event now. We probably only get to hear about a small proportion of incidents. Government refuses to do anything about those caught carrying a knife. Only acts when someone has been injured. I'm sick of it. DulwichFox

  22. Over the years I have reported the Lamp Post opposite my house twice. On both occasions I was able to speak with someone with very little trouble. I was given a reference number and the lamp post was repaired within a day or two. DulwichFox
