  1. Gourmet Burger Kitchen will do your burgers to order . I like mine well cooked however . david_carnell Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > aquarius moon Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > > david_carnell Wrote: > > > -------------------------------------------------- > > > ----- > > > The Actress refused to serve me a medium-rare > > > burger the other night. > > > > I don't think they are allowed to serve burgers > > med-rare for health/safety reasons. 2. Thanks so much for the update and it appears that the message has finally got through .
  3. The new Charter that is since it'll be based 'in' Dulwich.
  4. I'm not sure I understand ... I'm assuming all the parents on here are DULWICH parents ? Their kids are in Dulwich schools ? Therefore they are in catchment of Charter?
  5. Fabulous letter . If Harris goes ahead then we will all know something is amiss! simonethebeaver Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Southwark Council has sent an extremely robust > response to Harris about the opening of the new > school, which I think captures the feelings of > everyone I've spoken to about it. 6. No pleasing some people 😉 As many has pointed out regardless of who won the bid it still wasn't going to be possible for every child in Dulwich to get into the secondary. I have a child at local school in Dulwich and there are children from Camberwell, Forest Hill etc who got in whilst others nearby the school didn't get in and this is based on distance catchment ! My point is , someone is always going to lose out no matter what but generally speaking , the children from all local schools should have a chance of getting in .
  7. Not true Otta. I'd be in catchment of Charter 2 but not 1 . 8. I like the idea of various nodal points and I would be in favour of that , currently I would be in catchment of Charter 2 but I'm not in catchment of Charter 1 so not all of us in catchment of Charter 2 have the option of other schools too .
  9. Sadly cannot make either due to lack of babysitter but happy to lend my support during the day or via petitions etc. Samstopit Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Hi Dulwich B&B > > The consultation events tomorrow are at: > > Harris Girls? 10. James, I don't have a short memory . I voted for you because you were proactive in getting things moving and that impressed me but naturally after voting I was very disappointed that my signature to support ONLY a Harris DULWICH primary has been abused because I did not request for another Harris in Dulwich. I think if you were to contact all the Dulwich parents who signed for your original campaign they would most likely share my views evidently by the voices of opposition against the Harris Nunhead primary that Tessa has supported us in not you . Dulwich is sorted for Primaries. We do not need a school for Nunhead in Dulwich.
  11. I'm furious that my signature used to support the Dulwich Harris seems to have been used to support the Nunhead one. Isn't this misleading and criminal ? Since it's not what we offered support for ?
  12. Has Harris Nunhead definitely been approved to have their school on the hospital site ?
  13. Samstopit , where is the event tomorrow? As I'm opposing the Harris school on the hospital site .
  14. It's a Brilliant idea Otta as I didn't even know about it at the time .
  15. I voted Charter so naturally I'm thrilled that they have been won the bid!
  16. Star Wars ... The new one . I'm sure it'll be open by then;)
  17. I saw in the SE22 magazine that you stated food composting will possibly be no more due to the council no longer supplying the bags ? I always make full use of my food compost and like to use this service as I do not want food waste sitting in my green bin for two weeks stinking and attracting flies/maggots . What is the latest stance on this ?
  18. That is awful . Thank you for the warning .
  19. As long as its finished in time for the new Star Wars, I'm happy .
  20. I see nothing wrong with the email . Since when has ANY building work EVER been finished on time?
  21. Ditto to the last three posters . I'm surprised at your response James. Thankfully Tessa is proactive and acts on OUR behalf and is OUR voice because we really would be up the creak without a paddle if we didn't have Tessa acting on our behalf .
  22. Great letter from Tessa. Let hope we are heard .
  23. I wanted to say an amazing THANK YOU to Sara-Jane McCabe from http://www.shutterbaby.co.uk who was busy from morning until the end of the day photographing babies galore non stop to raise an amazing ?360 for Kings College Hospital!! She donated every single penny to Kings. What a star! Thank you to everyone else who helped on the day . So far we have raised ?516.68 for our local hospital . You can still donate via http://m.virginmoneygiving.com/mt/uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fundraiser-web/fundraiser/showFundraiserPage.action?userUrl=EastDulwichMums&faId=543751&isTeam=true
