  1. I know Ashbourne is a troublesome road (sorry Grove). Altho, now correct me if I'm wrong, it doesn't seem to be a particularly busy road compared to others...?
  2. Cazzyr don't b getting humpfy lozzyloz already expressed an interest out of curiousity as to the difference between each group so there really was no need to b throwing around the "ignorant" accusation. I am curious too as to the difference and may need to make a note for the future (not in the way some may think tho)
  3. Simple solution then... park in the driveway ;-) yes yes I no not a particularly helpful suggestion. Are there really that many bays in the ED area then?
  4. The Mcgann (however u spell it) used to live round here...
  5. u make that sound as if that's a surprise! :-| I weren't directing my comment at you anyways BB just generally ;-)
  6. Deep Steve DEEEEEEEEP!
  7. *wonders whether she should put her ideas forward* hmmmm I think this is all getting a bit too deep and not getting to the point of where to hold the next drinks. Yes we've established certain pubs are off putting for some and those are happy to sit it out if the overal decision is to go to said place (nearly thru wiv rambling) just as I mentioned I would miss out on the next drinks if it was decided to go to a place completely off the beaten track, as it were... I wouldn't expect everyone to change just coz of me as annaj and b#5 wouldn't...
  8. Excuse my ignorance but... d) residents who convert their front gardens to water repellent parking bays How will that ease parking? take the bay away and the space in the front garden and you still have a car using the space. It makes no difference at all.
  9. I'm still bemused with the figures...
  10. The staggering bit is certainly something worth considering (for some)... ;-)
  11. *counts out coppers* mayb ;-) :p

Nice selling! Quite clearly you've learnt the art of selling a property perhaps from the Foxton lot?! ;-)

    a joke

A funeral service is being held for a woman who has just passed away. At the end of the service the pall bearers are carrying the casket out when they accidentally bump into a wall, jarring the casket. They hear a faint moan. They open the casket and find that the woman is actually alive. She lived for ten more years, and then dies peacefully. A ceremony is again held at the same place, and at the end of the ceremony the pall bearers are again carrying out the casket. As they are walking, the husband cries out, "Watch the wall!"
  16. I'm for the Vale, even with my post on the other thread... haven't been there for many a year :)
  17. IMO ratty IMO
  18. I haven't visited the Vale for many a year *finks back* it was okay back then, nothing special except overpriced and lacking atmosphere. One is assuming it is the same still? ah well *shrugs*
  19. I do believe I have finally "got it" :( aches, coughing, snotty, eyes streaming :( :( :( I did so well to avoid it all!
