  1. Poor thing. If he's in pain then there may be infection - it is highly unlikely the tooth would be filled whilst there's infection. I would suggest getting an emergency appointment at a normal dentist where they can assess the situation and perhaps provide a prescription for antibiotics. Highlighting the situation to your dentist may mean in a few days, once the antibiotics settle in, they can put a temporary filling in the tooth (if your son allows - usually done without needles)and possibly advice on your next steps. Not a dentist but someone who has been through this scenario before. I'd also suggest he stop eating on that side of his mouth and only drink fluids (hot or cold) through a straw to prevent the nerve getting triggered. All the best.
  2. Has this twice in 3 months! Streamline ?200. I?m very careful where I use my card and other than TFL I use very occasionally in my corner shop. I?ve talked this through with my bank and they?re very vague H azel81 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Hello! > > Our household in SE22 have all be the victims of > bank fraud over the past few months. 3. As a mum of one dyslexic and one child who it didn't all fall into place until about 8 years old I counteracted their creative frustration by helping them make story books. For the non-dyslexic I would sit down at the keyboard whilst he told me the stories to write and with the dyslexic (who is very creative and arty), suggest he tell stories in drawings and I would help with any words if they were needed. Obviously, this is not a replacement for good dyslexic focused teaching at school but really helped their creativity. midivydale Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Hey everyone and thank you for your comments, each > and everyone one of them are appreciated. 4. I?m afraid I would say ?let children be children?whilst the weather is good. As the nights draw in and it gets colder they?re unlikely to be out so late. All houses and in particular flats are very hot at the moment so allowing children outside during the summer holidays is much kinder than keeping them indoors. The sound may seem louder at the moment because windows are open but as your little one gets older, you will gain more understanding. Saying that, I would agree after 11pm is very late for children to be up.
  5. The closure is due to the installation of pedestrian protection measures on Westminster Bridge and Bridge Street. In light of terrorist attacks in the area this seems pretty important. Perhaps you can find another way to get to the West End. 176 gets quite close.
  6. Is it the colour of a Russian Blue or a silver colour?
  7. I think the point may be EDNate that on a nature reserve there may be more bugs, wild plants etc.,and therefore a lot of disturbance by Dogs off leads etc., may impact the "nature". There are other places to let dogs off leads.
  8. It?s around the 60?s Hindmans. Not sure which house though.
  9. Now there?s a burner on Hindmans Rd. air quality is bad enough without this unneighbourly behaviour. Is this the new reality of weekends now we have to pay for garden waste to be collected?
  10. Which department? I shouted over the fence that it wasn?t allowed. They put it out then started it up again. Angelina Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > phone the fire department and report them
  11. To the selfish person on Barry Rd who has been burning off all day you are truly vile person! Can?t sit in our garden on hottest day of the year.
  12. Based on original price and potential selling price of new builds, could be a good investment although the places built on Upland Rd (Peel Court?) took and very long time to build and slow to sell so return could take a while.
  13. First Mate, me too! On the plus side, if you already shop in Roullier White for perfume you?re unlikely to go back to identikit high street brands. Perfume from Roullier White is an immersive experience :-)
  14. Was going to suggest UK Parliament who runs an amazing work experience scheme but unfortunately, applications are closed for this year. Something to think about for next year. The scheme usually opens for applications in January and you can apply twice, once for House of Commons and once for House of Lords.
  15. Strangely tried that first before going to an open forum. If you?d looked at the result, you?d see that it doesn?t say.
  16. Title says it all! Is Oddbins open today?
  17. I?ve had such mixed experiences lately. When booking an appointment for my teenage son with vague need to see a GP, it was 4-5 weeks to get an appointment. When I callled with a known condition I was offered the next day (which I couldn?t do) or a Saturday The same week. There?s a triage going on but I can?t say I understand it. What I do know is that an under investment in GP training and primary care is hitting hard on this practice. You can always ask for a Lister appointment which, on the whole, I?ve found suitable.
  18. There's a large number of tours that can be booked from most of the holiday villages and towns. The closer you are to Knossos would probably be easiest (we stayed the other side of the island last time and we weren't in favour of a very long coach trip there and back). Driving in Crete is very easy. The roads are good pretty much everywhere and it's very hard to get lost.
  19. We live inside the proposed CPZ and not received any information in the post. My expectation is that we should be consulted. Does anyone know if there have been any letters?
  20. Please report it to the Police. This sounds like domestic violence and possibly worse. If it isn?t, at least you did what you thought best. Many years ago, I heard what sounded like a couple arguing and then someone being hit. I reported it to the Police. They investigated. The woman was regularly beating her partner and didn?t know what to do as he was worried about their children. The Police visit helped him to make a decision to leave the abuse.
  21. Bats this year in Hindmans Rd/Barry Rd - great sight at dusk.
  22. I wish I had even known there was such a thing! Not sure if it would have helped with my PTSD (also not diagnosed by GP). Did eventually talk through the birth 4 years later before my second birth but had another difficult one(not as traumatic). Some of the Clinical signs were there that the second one may be difficult but the profession are so focused on giving the mother what they want, poor decisions are sometimes made. For balance though, both of my little lives were saved by amazing clinicians. In many countries that wouldn?t have been the outcome.

  24. Are you sure it's human? We have the occasional fox poo around our bins.
