Actually the air is faster over the top of the wing which as a result of the Bernoulli effect gives rise to a lower pressure, hence lift. Fascinating things planes.

Plain oval gold chain links are the only ones a gentleman would wear. Perhaps with a crest if one is armigerous.

easiest journey to Heathrow in morning peak?
oilworker replied to Bluelagoon's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Use the minicab drivers route, up over west norwood cross leigham court road, cross Streatham High Road, get onto tooting bec road, cross Balham high road on to trinity road over Wandsworth bridge, left on carnwath road past hurlingham club onto munster road, fulham palace road and on to the A4 at Hammersmith. From then on its a doddle. Should be an hour or so if you leave before 7am. -

Been to both a number of times. Corsica gets the vote for its splendid scenery and being slightly more civilised than Sardinia.(Berlusconi has a place on the costa smeralda in Sardinia) Chocoholic, if you went round the island in an hour it must have been Canvey Island you went to!

bad luck! You say they were "firmly" locked - what kind of lock did you use?(most "cheap" i.e. less than ?50 can be easily broken by experienced bike thieves) We've had about 5 bikes down the years stolen - mostly locked up outside the house or in the garden shed. I've come to the conclusion that the only thing which will stop them is using a serious motorbike type chain lock (16mm diameter hardened steel chain links minimum - too thick for bolt cutters) but these are very heavy to carry around. I've never recovered any of the bikes i've had nicked but I never stop looking! Good luck with the search.
