Well I'm sure they have better things to do, I'd rather then investigate more serious matters than my two bikes & patrol the area more often, hopefully put these sort of people off.

I hope you have reported it to the Police ? They are scum bags...... The thieves not the Police !

On Boxing night someone jemmied the block of spikes on top of the gate to our back garden & climbed over and stole our bikes from the shed and rear garden. Our neighbour has security lights that would have been activated but they were clearly determined and not put off ! I believe we are the 3rd house in the street this month alone, please be vigilant.

He owns the flat in that building & also a share of the freehold.

It's still happening, i walk past on a regular basis. He has mental health issues and has apparently taken in a lodger who has the same issues and she is living in that front room. I'd avoid approaching him as he is unstable and has be known to be violent. Call the council & report it to the noise team

Neighbour paid ?1700 plus ?500 for the notice to be put in the newspaper, application was put in in March and he is still waiting for the work to be done.

Little disappointed that it's just another kebab shop, nothing different on the menu to any other place on LL, well actually it seemed to have less, even the specials board was pretty rubbish. The guy cooking asked another older guy hiding out the back to give him a hand serving some other customer's, his reply was 'what do i say ?' - what would you like was the answer ! Hope it works out for them, they've made such an effort with the decor, pity not as much with the menu. The kebabs we had were nice though.

We stayed at Hotel Roma, right opposite the leaning tower, around ?80, it was ok for the night, clean. Not sure about the parking tho.....

We stayed at Kraft Hotel last year, its close to all the sights and has a pool, think it was about ?100 per night with breakfast.

Are they actually doing any work, I have walked past 4 times this week whilst on my way to the station, twice around 1030 and twice around 1450 and there hasn't been anyone actually there.......so much for putting extra people on the job to get it finishaed !

Well said Louisa. To insinuate that the police were the ones that were to blame for the man to be laid out on the grass makes me sick. Clearly no understanding of the police service, their deployment & that they are here to assist the public. Nigello i suppose you would have also criticised the police had they only sent one officer, god forbid you or your family ever require assistance from the emergency services & they send far too many officers.... Linz you are an arse...... The male had collapsed whilst walking his dog, LAS had attended and were attempting to treat the male but the dog was aggressive and started to attack them, the Police attended with a Police dog handler to remove the dog so the male could be treated.

The service in SC is dismal, uniterested girls clock watching, unable to raise even a smile !
