I don't know Bellenden Road too well and only been there once when I got my hair cut in Kuki's in November. It is across from the Church at the top of the road. Any help?

I had pedicure there on Friday, first time since they changed management. Nice people and good job.

Had a cut and highlights done last Saturday by the chap and really pleased with it. I'll be back.

On the basis of the good comments here I've booked a cut/highlights for next Saturday and really looking forward to it.

Seems there were a large group of people on Forest Hill Road (near Herne Tavern group of shops)heading in direction of local cemetery and there was a shooting with at least one person hitting the ground. A friend of mine has just let me know about it as he had just got off the bus there at the time.

For goodness sake, does it really matter what colour they are. Have you nothing else to worry about and concern yourself with.

When I was there in June, a male relative happened to be in the shop, and it is he who ran the restaurant(s). Those who worked in the East Dulwich business were all family.

If the service is as good as it was and the people pleasant and friendly, does it really matter what happened to the previous business owners. Perhaps they took too much on, as they told me they had restaurants as well.

I hope it is the same team as they were really good and very pleasant. They did intend every month to have special reductions. When I got my pedicure/manicure done in June, they gave me a couple of quid off the price as I don't like nail varnish. I hope they get a beauty person in as well, that would be a bonus as long as the prices were reasonable.

I live in East Dulwich and I do not appreciate this comment at all. I wander into Peckham practically every weekend, and I've come across many really nice people. Let's not be like the readers of the Daily Mail, and put everyone into the same sack, unless of course you are one, and frankly that would explain a comment such as this.

The notice in their window states that they are temporarily closed. Other than that the premises look just the same, no damage and just as pristine as it was before.

I have tried all the hairdressers on Lordship Lane, with the exception of the one near to Dulwich Library and didn't like any of them. My hair gets cut privately by a lady I found on this forum. Search for Home Hair.

There's a pancake stall on Hampstead High Street, with a varied and lengthy menu and on weekends there are queues of people waiting to order all day long. If it works there, it could work in East Dulwich. A community veg stall would be good too. I haven't joined the local greens system as I don't think I could use up all the veg in a week, so having another alternative would be handy.

The 12 goes up Dog Kennel Hill, passes King College Hospital. I've got it a couple of times in the last week, but this morning the driver wouldn't let anyone off as he said he was on a 2 mile diversion and couldn't stop until he got to a certain point (probably where the 12 normally meets Camberwell). We persuaded him to let us off at Denmark Hill!

I had the same problem recently with a very fast swimmer in the slow lane.

I came onto the Forum just now to ask if anyone had heard that rioting had started in Camberwell. I work on Denmark Hill and a colleague has just mentioned this and that it is closed off. One of our security people went to the area and confirmed that it is true enough.
