It's construction is there to marvel at and it plays with your senses. The further you are from it the more it stands out. However, try to find it without using a map. It's great fun, because it aludes you, hides almost. And when you do get there, the best view of it isn't a direct one, but a reflected view in the building adjacent to it Netts

I do it fairly regularly, as I work in Blanford Street I take my Brompton bike and train it into Victoria, then cycle up through Hyde Park Or if it's a bit grim i'll get on the bus just outside the station and hop off/cycle from just past Marble Arch I also use Damon B's route + bike The bike bit makes it much more fun Nette(tu)
