  8. We went to the Olympic Torch Relay at Crystal Palace the other day It was brilliant I was on my bike on the way to meet my family (wearing my all black kit with a green flouro top, riding a black bike) I sometimes get mistaken for a police person in my garb. So as the torch entered Crystal Palace park via the side gate, I slipped in and cycled behind the torch bearer team and was waved through the crowds by security. It was very funny because for a while I must of looked like part of the official team. That was until a sharp eyed policeman in a van came along side me, looking me up and down. It took him a moment "Oi you, hop it" he said with a thumb back hitcher gesticulation He was laughing though as he knew what I was up to In retrospect, I think my "Royal Curtain" waving maybe over egged it & got me ejected Ah, what fun though Nette

  12. I had a teacher once, called Miss English. All tweed twin-set and salt & pepper hair. She had a little dog that she kept in her car, you could see it out of the class room window She'd walk the scruffy little thing (which come to thing about it, matched her hair) whilst having a fag "Read out loud until I come back" she'd rasp Once back in the room, stinking of smoke she'd announce something random or other about the war My favourite being " I had an affair with Hitler, you know ! " I was fascinated and repulsed in equal measure by her Nette
  13. Try Selco in Downham http://www.selcobw.com/products/timber-joinery/flooring/ Deckfon Acoustic flooring It's trade only but if you go in they'll sell you anything There's a cheaper fibreboard material. It's about 35mm thick so you'll have to trim the bottom of the doors Or try Wickes Netts
