  1. Oh how refreshing. I very much enjoyed this & Shaun Evans who plays morse is very good indeed. The camera work was nice, very of the era I thought, good music, colouring & the sets and costume were spot on. I think there is a series in it for sure. Apparently the highest viewer rating/response in 5 years for ITV in it's category. NETTE(tu)(tu)(tu)

I think the term is presumed innocent until proven guilty. A reserved judgement whilst under suspicion.

Are you just winding us up for a laugh? ------------------------------------------------------------------ Mr C isn't very happy I think, as this morning He further offers the following. So all in all, he is probably a bit pissed off & given his other comments on here, i'd cut him some slack. It doesn't stop him being a knob, but then aren't we all sometimes. NETTE
  7. I just wonder what kind of life these two & the others have actually led since they murdered of Steven Lawrence. By that I mean, even though the've been "at liberty" in society, I can't help but imagine their existence was less than "free". They must have been social pariahs in and around everywhere they went. I like to think they've been a prisoner of their own conscience. Having lied so comprehensively throughout, they've had to live the "truth" of that lie ever since. I do hope that out of this, Steven Lawrence's parents can see in some way that part of justice has been done. There are people behind the scenes that have worked tirelessly to bring this case back to court. I think they deserve a quite thought here. There can never be a total closure when someone so dear to you is brutally murdered. However, knowing that others care enough to push hard for a conviction or even a conclusion, which dignifies the victim, does in some part give you the chance to move on with your own life again. 16. UDT. You do live by yourself, don't you ? Anyway you make me laugh & that's a good thing. Thierry Henry back at Arsenal makes me laugh ( nervously ) too. Mind you PSG are paying David Beckham 160k a week to pull on their shirt, so it looks like a good year for the oldies, thus far. NETTE:)(tu)
  17. Oh what a day. I've had a good/varied start to the year. Our children were whisked off unexpectedly with their lovely friends for the day. And my darling other half had to study. So off I set & into Shoreidtch I went, and then left there pretty pronto. If I say it was like the set of Escape From New York then you'll get the picture. The arch by the station was still in the dregs of crusty-rave-mode. God knows what drugs are on the circuit at the moment, but there was a range of faces from green to grey & nobody was looking pretty. I walked through the city & up through Clerkenwell, stopping briefly to look at the ballistics team searching a taped off area from a shooting in the early hours. Then a quick spin on the bus to Oxford street, more people off their faces staring/talking at walls/looking skyward. A quick stomp through the back of Soho & more grey/green people looking decidedly shonky. A very pleasant solo lunch in Won Kei in china town & a read of David Lammy's book, then up to bar Italia to see the Man city kick off. And back into China town and to see the 3.30 film showing at The Price Charles. They must have known I was coming ( they were showing ELF with Will Ferrell ) "Er..HELLO" only the best film to watch on new-years-day-by-yourself. Then home & into the arms of my loved ones. ( well the other half was a bit cranky but soon warmed up ) Sausage & Mash, a log fire & Adele at The Albert Hall. I mean, what more could you ask for? I suppose a bit of "Hot Yoga" but, y'know....we can't have everything ( & it is a bank holiday tomorrow ) NETTE;-):)

Yes there are. The horse must clear all the jumps with the rider still intact. Any deviation around the jumps or a round in which the jumps are taken in the wrong order, will have a points deducted. I hope that clears things up. NETTE:-S

  23. Whilst surfing the WWW on a plethora of Apple productshttp://images.mirror.co.uk/upl/m4/dec2011/5/6/cherly-cole-image-3-163168389.jpg I like to "kick back" in a pair of these designed by Cheryl Cole ( hello, remember her ). They're the perfect leisure item for the season, along with a "slanket" that is. PR. I know you'll just love these. NETTE(tu)
  24. Cooking times are fine per se . If you need a guide as how to get everything out at the same time, then on good Ol' Gordon. However, the surest way to guarantee a perfect joint of Beef, Lamb or other is to understand the internal temperature that the meat is required to achieve. No matter which type of oven is used. Of course a good hot browning is required first, in the oven or in a roasting/frying pan on the hob. Rare Beef is good at an internal temperature of 50 degrees C Medium = 60 degrees C Well done= 70 degrees C On average a joint takes 20mins per 500g in a hot oven, so you can figure it out roughly by the weight of your joint. You can then Digital Temperature probe it to get it absolutely spot on. It works every time, no matter how big or small the joint. NETTE(tu)
