  1. Forgot yesterday - though on today's evidence I should have forgotten the whole weekend.
  2. Been thrown out of a lot of (not all licensed) places and given a 'you're barred' bon mot on leaving. Was properly banned from Barclays Bank back in the 90s. A dispute between us eventually led to them writing to me - though I had plenty of money in my a/c - stating they were "no longer prepared to handle your account" and giving me a couple of weeks to take my accumulated wealth and fuck off. They used slightly more technical language.
  3. Of course Ot's right but generally, misplaced pronunciation aside perhaps, I'm on the side of the grammar feds. Nothing wrong with being gently persuaded to adopt proper usage. Though if anyone could persuade a certain poster to use 'would have' or 'would've' or 'could have' or 'could've' instead of 'would of' or 'could of' then, for my money, they could split infinitives until the cows come slowly home.
  4. Done - Go bantams.

Daily yes - at midnight (or later). For the next day's diners. And stop knocking pineapple. On gammon it's almost a lost art and as tasty as a prawn cocktail - and a butter-fried pineapple slice with jerk pork is a thing of beauty.

Or the Irish - got to feel for Morgan, will be tough to recover - and whilst I'm sure Cook isn't a vindictive man, he must be pissing himself.
  8. As we're talking chips - securi-tattie.
  9. Fish puns out of plaice Prefer a flaming chip pun Both better battered.

  11. Why awesome DF?! I think you mean maxxi, Loz credit where it's due
  12. I don't think you're ever in a clique until someone says you are - cliquey is in the eye of the beholder. Oh, and... EDF people Trolling is more serious A sinister thing ...just an idea DF.
  13. Of course it was deliberate. I thought I had stumbled on to a stylistic adventure - disappointed to see it is a tech-necessity. No, tfwsoll - taking the piss has always been a vital part of life in these blessed isles. Making pointless negative comments from a position of assumed superiority and claiming 'bullying' at the drop of even the smallest hat is the national pastime. ETA: Before everyone claims this is meant to refer to them specifically and accuses me and my clique (if I have one) of bullying - it is just a general observation.

I ask only for information.

  16. Got to be someone AqM. Suggestion: IF JL gets through with both teams and IF he ends up playing himself (yes, yes) then his B team withdraws (due to eating a dodgy Lasagne maybe?) and my chaps are reinstated? Otherwise he goes through if only one of his team wins or both win and he isn't drawn against himself. If he wins through to an all Jah final the last team his B team beat are the replacements? See, I'm sure Alan Medic would have sorted this out for us............. (winky smiley thing)

  18. If someone wants to enter a 'B' team that's ok with me - first one to post here with a set of predictions?
  19. It's the divine right of Kings etc. isn't it? They 'rule' (well, you know what I mean) because of a lottery of birth - I'd be all in favour of a switch to a more Babylonian Lottery approach a la Jorge Luis Borges (complete with punishment tickets to keep viewing figures high).

    ITV Show

"WHAT ARE YOUR SUNDAY NIGHT RITUALS? " They involve blood and a variety of other bodily fluids - oh, and a Charlie Drake LP. "DO YOU HAVE A DILEMMA THAT NEEDS RESOLVING AND WOULD LIKE SOME ADVICE? " Funnily enough yes, I don't really know what to tell the owners of the caravan we used and do you know how to get mucus stains out of dralon? "DO YOU FANCY STITCHING UP A BEST FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER? HAVE THEY ATTEMPTED SOMETHING THAT HAS GONE DISASTROUSLY WRONG? DO THEY CONTINUOUSLY MESS UP THE SIMPLEST OF TASKS? " You keep hitting the nail on the head, we have already started the stitching (though it didn't go at all well and is still rather leaky) but if said friend/family member hadn't done as you say the advice certainly wouldn't be needed. Where can I meet you to discuss this further?

    I'm sad.....

It's possible to lurk when logged-out too though if you want to do it without being 'seen' - only thing you can't do (apart from post) is use the search box
  24. Cooked chicken spine/neck bones are okay too as they crumble rather than splinter - lot of dogs get tooth/gum problems because they eat nothing but tinned pap.
